口傳文學(xué)《四川民間故事》(節(jié)選)漢譯英翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

本文是一篇以口傳文學(xué)《四川民間故事》為研究對(duì)象的漢譯英翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告!端拇耖g故事》是收錄在《四川省志·民俗志》口傳文學(xué)篇章中的故事節(jié)選?趥魑膶W(xué)將四川地區(qū)歷史文化與口頭文學(xué)結(jié)合起來,編講故事。這些故事表現(xiàn)了明顯的四川特色,趣味性高,文化內(nèi)涵豐富。本文將口傳文學(xué)作為案例分析的原因有以下幾點(diǎn):口頭文學(xué)文本化的翻譯是翻譯研究的一個(gè)子領(lǐng)域,并沒發(fā)現(xiàn)太多相關(guān)研究,值得深入探討;作為流傳于四川地區(qū)的口傳文學(xué),《四川民間故事》具有豐富的四川文化特性,文化價(jià)值高;四川方言在《四川民間故事》里的運(yùn)用凸顯了方言魅力,趣味性強(qiáng)!端拇耖g故事》經(jīng)歷了從口頭到筆頭的文本化(Textualization)過程,這有利于文學(xué)作品的保存以及后續(xù)研究,卻也給本文的翻譯工作帶來了挑戰(zhàn)。其一,方言作為口頭語言被文本化后,口頭與書面界限模糊;其二,非口頭語言,特別是聲調(diào)在文本化過程中遺失,削減了故事的生動(dòng)性與趣味性;其三,故事流暢性與注釋之間產(chǎn)生沖突。結(jié)合文本化過程帶來的翻譯挑戰(zhàn),筆者認(rèn)為莫里斯提出的意義理論對(duì)該文本的翻譯具有指導(dǎo)意義。莫里斯提出了意義理論,即指示意義,言內(nèi)意義,語用意義。此三種意義對(duì)英譯《四川民間故事》...
