劉宇昆是一名科幻小說(shuō)翻譯家兼科幻小說(shuō)作家,他翻譯的很多優(yōu)秀的中國(guó)科幻作品促進(jìn)了中西方科幻小說(shuō)的交流。隨著語(yǔ)料庫(kù)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的發(fā)展,語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的研究方法已經(jīng)逐漸被用于譯者風(fēng)格的研究中,為譯者風(fēng)格的研究提供了一種更客觀科學(xué)的視角。因此,本文以莫娜·貝克對(duì)譯者風(fēng)格的闡釋和語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的研究方法為基礎(chǔ),選取三本劉宇昆的代表譯作,采用定量與定性相結(jié)合的辦法來(lái)對(duì)劉宇昆的翻譯風(fēng)格進(jìn)行研究。首先,本文利用語(yǔ)料庫(kù)相關(guān)的軟件進(jìn)行定量分析,來(lái)研究劉宇昆翻譯風(fēng)格在詞匯,句法和篇章層面的體現(xiàn),并將得到的結(jié)果與國(guó)外大型開(kāi)放語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行比較,如英語(yǔ)國(guó)家語(yǔ)料庫(kù)和翻譯英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)。其次,本文還結(jié)合傳統(tǒng)定量分析方法來(lái)研究劉宇昆的翻譯風(fēng)格在翻譯文本選擇,具體翻譯策略運(yùn)用和副文本利用三個(gè)方面的體現(xiàn)。最后本文還分析了影響劉宇昆翻譯風(fēng)格形成的幾個(gè)原因。定量分析結(jié)果顯示劉宇昆的譯文風(fēng)格比較正式,同時(shí)他的譯文很符合英語(yǔ)的詩(shī)學(xué)規(guī)范,并且劉宇昆譯文的可讀性接近“讀者文摘”的難度。定性結(jié)果顯示劉宇昆的譯文不僅能保持原文的風(fēng)味,同時(shí)其譯文語(yǔ)言還很流暢自然,讓讀者能很好的理解原文。此外,譯者的教育背景,民族身份,科幻作家的身份以及譯者的翻譯思想都對(duì)劉宇昆的...
