【摘要】：作為語言學(xué)習(xí)者,我們常常接觸到許多翻譯作品,但這些作品的質(zhì)量良莠不齊。一些低質(zhì)量的譯本不僅不能帶給讀者享受,反而會(huì)引發(fā)困惑甚至誤解,這一現(xiàn)象在文學(xué)作品的翻譯中尤為常見。因此,在本篇論文中,筆者試圖在功能對(duì)等理論的指導(dǎo)下對(duì)勒瑞薩·博寧(Larrisa Boehning)的小說《跳躍》(Sprunge)進(jìn)行翻譯,并對(duì)翻譯中遇到的困難和問題進(jìn)行分析,以探究文學(xué)翻譯的難點(diǎn)。本篇論文主要分為四個(gè)部分:第一部分為理論基礎(chǔ),主要對(duì)翻譯理論的發(fā)展進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單回顧,同時(shí)對(duì)功能對(duì)等理論的歷史沿革及其核心原則,即目的性、連貫性和忠誠(chéng)性原則進(jìn)行了較為詳細(xì)的介紹;第二部分為作者和作品介紹,主要對(duì)原著作者勒瑞薩·博寧(Larrisa Boehning)的生平及其作品《跳躍》(Sprunge)的情節(jié)進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)短的概括,為后文的具體分析作一個(gè)鋪墊;第三部分即為針對(duì)具體問題的分析,通過實(shí)例對(duì)本次翻譯的目的、標(biāo)題翻譯、象聲詞翻譯、文學(xué)處理、文化差異的處理及口語翻譯等問題進(jìn)行深入探討;第四部分為結(jié)論部分,闡述了此次翻譯實(shí)踐帶給筆者的啟發(fā),即文學(xué)翻譯是一項(xiàng)難度很高的任務(wù),譯者在具備一定的文學(xué)素養(yǎng)和語言功底的同時(shí),也需要做好接受"不可譯性"的心理準(zhǔn)備,盡可能完整真實(shí)地還原原作;另外,譯者是一個(gè)需要終身學(xué)習(xí)的職業(yè),只有不斷地吸收新鮮的知識(shí)和語匯,才可能自由地徜徉于不同的語言和文化之間,為人們搭建好溝通的橋梁。本文的重點(diǎn)就在于第三部分。在這一部分中筆者選出了一些翻譯過程中遇到的較為典型的例子,通過這些例子闡明了筆者的翻譯策略和理由,同時(shí)也總結(jié)了一些翻譯方法和技巧,例如有時(shí)強(qiáng)行翻譯不如采用轉(zhuǎn)譯或留白的方式來為讀者提供更大的思考空間等。本篇論文的主要目的就在于通過筆者的翻譯實(shí)踐來親身體會(huì)文學(xué)翻譯中的困難,并感受翻譯理論對(duì)于翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)作用,希望能夠借此為譯者們提供一些具有建設(shè)性的意見和建議。在文學(xué)作品的翻譯中,同時(shí)實(shí)現(xiàn)文學(xué)性和忠誠(chéng)性其實(shí)是很困難的一件事情,如同在一根平衡木上,一邊是天馬行空的文學(xué)世界,另一邊又是對(duì)于原作的責(zé)任,譯者們必須在適合的理論指導(dǎo)之下尋找到平衡,由此才能高質(zhì)量地完成翻譯任務(wù)。當(dāng)然,論文中提及的問題和建議都只是筆者的個(gè)人之見,必然存在考慮不周和不足之處,這是需要筆者在今后的工作和學(xué)習(xí)中不斷改進(jìn)的。
[Abstract]:As language learners, we often come into contact with many translated works, but the quality of these works is mixed. Some low-quality translations not only can not bring readers to enjoy, but will lead to confusion and even misunderstanding, which is particularly common in the translation of literary works. Therefore, in this thesis, under the guidance of functional equivalence theory, the author attempts to translate Le Reza Bonin (Larrisa Boehning) 's novel Jump (Sprunge), and analyzes the difficulties and problems encountered in translation in order to explore the difficulties in literary translation. This thesis is divided into four parts: the first part is the theoretical basis, which mainly reviews the development of translation theory, and introduces the historical evolution of functional equivalence theory and its core principles, that is, the principles of purpose, coherence and loyalty. The second part is the introduction of the author and the work, which mainly summarizes the life of the original author Le Reza Bonin (Larrisa Boehning) and the plot of his work "Jump" (Sprunge), which paves the way for the concrete analysis of the following text. The third part is the analysis of specific problems, through examples of the purpose of this translation, title translation, onomatopoeia translation, literary treatment, the treatment of cultural differences and oral translation and other issues are discussed in depth. The fourth part is the conclusion part, which expounds the inspiration that the translation practice brings to the author, that is, literary translation is a very difficult task. While the translator has certain literary literacy and language skills, he also needs to be prepared to accept "untranslatability" and restore the original work as completely and truthfully as possible. In addition, translators are a profession that needs lifelong learning. Only by constantly absorbing new knowledge and vocabulary can translators freely wander between different languages and cultures and build bridges for people to communicate. The focus of this paper is on the third part. In this part, the author selects some typical examples encountered in the process of translation, expounds the author's translation strategies and reasons through these examples, and also summarizes some translation methods and skills, such as sometimes forced translation is better than translation or blank translation to provide readers with more thinking space, and so on. The main purpose of this thesis is to personally experience the difficulties in literary translation through the author's translation practice, and to feel the guiding role of translation theory in translation practice, hoping to provide some constructive suggestions and suggestions for translators. In the translation of literary works, it is very difficult to realize literariness and loyalty at the same time, as on a balance beam, one side is the empty literary world, the other is the responsibility for the original work. Translators must find the balance under the appropriate theoretical guidance, so as to complete the translation task with high quality. Of course, the problems and suggestions mentioned in the paper are only the author's personal opinion, there must be inadequate consideration and shortcomings, which needs to be constantly improved in the future work and study.
