浦安迪《中國敘事學(xué)》辨要

【摘要】: 美國學(xué)者浦安迪是普林斯頓大學(xué)東亞系和比較文學(xué)系教授。浦安迪的《中國敘事學(xué)》從結(jié)構(gòu)、修辭等方面研究中國古典長篇章回小說,提出了以“奇書文體”為核心的敘事文學(xué)理論。對于中國的敘事文學(xué)而言,研究浦安迪的《中國敘事學(xué)》不僅具有理論價值,更有研究方法的啟示。本文分為三部分,包括序論、本論和結(jié)論。 序論主要介紹《中國敘事學(xué)》的研究意義和價值、學(xué)界的研究現(xiàn)狀以及我的研究思路。 本論從“綴段結(jié)構(gòu)”與“統(tǒng)一結(jié)構(gòu)”辨、“反諷”與曲筆辨、“通俗文學(xué)”與“文人小說”辨三個方面對《中國敘事學(xué)》進(jìn)行研究辨析: 一、“綴段結(jié)構(gòu)”與“統(tǒng)一結(jié)構(gòu)”辨。浦安迪通過研究“奇書文體”的結(jié)構(gòu),認(rèn)為奇書文體通過“主結(jié)構(gòu)+次結(jié)構(gòu)”的方式來架構(gòu)全文,而不是西方某些學(xué)者認(rèn)為的“有頭、有身、有尾”的有機(jī)結(jié)構(gòu)論,從而糾正了某些西方學(xué)者認(rèn)為的中國古代敘事文學(xué)是“綴段結(jié)構(gòu)”的片面之論。二、“反諷”與曲筆辨。浦安迪從反諷角度研究中國古典長篇章回小說的修辭,本文在浦安迪研究的基礎(chǔ)上對反諷與曲筆的關(guān)系進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步的討論。三、“通俗文學(xué)”與“文人小說”辨。對于中國古典長篇章回小說的性質(zhì),中國學(xué)者一般認(rèn)為是“通俗文學(xué)”。與此相反,浦安迪提出了“文人小說”理論。本文從文學(xué)觀念的差異與作家的才氣兩個角度對這一問題進(jìn)行分析、辨要。 結(jié)論總結(jié)浦安迪《中國敘事學(xué)》的價值、局限及現(xiàn)實意義。
[Abstract]:American scholar Andy Poo is professor of East Asia and Comparative Literature at Princeton University. Pu Andy's "Chinese narratology" studies Chinese classical Zhang Hui novels from the aspects of structure and rhetoric, and puts forward the narrative literature theory centered on "the style of rare Books". For Chinese narrative literature, the study of Andy Pu's Chinese narratology has not only theoretical value, but also the enlightenment of research methods. This article is divided into three parts, including preface theory, this theory and conclusion. The preface mainly introduces the significance and value of Chinese narratology, the current situation of academic research and my research ideas. This paper distinguishes Chinese narratology from three aspects: "the structure of affix paragraph" and "unified structure", "irony" and "qu pen", "popular literature" and "literati novel". The distinction between "suffix structure" and "unified structure". By studying the structure of the novel, Andy Pu thinks that the style of the novel constructs the full text by the way of "the main structure and the substructure", rather than the organic structure theory of "having the head, having the body, having the end", as some western scholars think. Thus, some western scholars correct the one-sided view that ancient Chinese narrative literature is "affixed paragraph structure". Second, irony and the argument of qu pen. From the perspective of irony, Pu Andy studies the rhetoric of Chinese classical novels. This paper further discusses the relationship between irony and qu pen on the basis of his research. Third, the distinction between popular Literature and Literati Fiction. As to the nature of Chinese classical novels, Chinese scholars generally regard them as "popular literature". On the contrary, Andy Poe put forward the theory of "literati novel". This paper analyzes this problem from the point of view of literary concept difference and writer's talent. Conclusion the value, limitation and practical significance of Pu Andy's Chinese narratology are summarized.
