詩(shī)歌隱喻解讀的B-S-I模式探究

【摘要】: 隱喻一直以來(lái)都被認(rèn)為是表達(dá)詩(shī)歌想象力和創(chuàng)造力的重要手段之一。詩(shī)人常常用隱喻來(lái)創(chuàng)造美,美化普通的或丑陋的事物,避免單調(diào)乏味。近年來(lái),在眾多學(xué)者的努力下,特別是隨著認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的迅速發(fā)展,詩(shī)歌和隱喻研究不斷的豐富和發(fā)展。但是人們對(duì)詩(shī)歌的研究,大都集中在美學(xué)和文化層面,較少?gòu)恼J(rèn)知層面對(duì)詩(shī)歌的解讀過(guò)程進(jìn)行分析;而對(duì)于隱喻的研究也主要集中在常規(guī)隱喻上,對(duì)詩(shī)歌隱喻關(guān)注較少。詩(shī)歌隱喻雖屬于隱喻的一種,但是和常規(guī)隱喻相比,又有它自身的新奇性、原創(chuàng)性和審美性,這些特征決定了不能把它和常規(guī)隱喻等同視之。因此,本文試圖在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上,從認(rèn)知心理學(xué)的角度建立一個(gè)整合模式去解讀中英詩(shī)歌中的隱喻,并試圖揭示隱藏在詩(shī)歌隱喻背后的人類(lèi)語(yǔ)言理解機(jī)制。 本文首先比較了常規(guī)隱喻和詩(shī)歌隱喻的異同,然后分別分析了概念整合理論,相似原則和抑制機(jī)制在詩(shī)歌隱喻解讀中的作用以及它們各自的優(yōu)劣勢(shì),在此基礎(chǔ)上創(chuàng)建了詩(shī)歌隱喻解讀的B-S-I模式,并將這一整合模式應(yīng)用到對(duì)各類(lèi)詩(shī)歌隱喻的具體解讀過(guò)程中去。結(jié)合前人的分類(lèi),參照系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)對(duì)語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)的劃分,本文對(duì)詩(shī)歌隱喻從語(yǔ)音層、詞匯語(yǔ)法層以及語(yǔ)義層三個(gè)層面做了重新的劃分,這三大類(lèi)還可以再分為更小的類(lèi)。經(jīng)過(guò)分析,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)詩(shī)歌隱喻的理解過(guò)程是讀者在結(jié)合語(yǔ)言語(yǔ)境和背景知識(shí)的基礎(chǔ)上不斷激活、聯(lián)想、抑制和推理,最終獲得隱含意義的動(dòng)態(tài)的過(guò)程。通過(guò)整合、映射、構(gòu)建以及其他的認(rèn)知操作,如:相似原則和抑制機(jī)制,讀者就能推斷出比較合適的隱含意義。 該論文共有五個(gè)章節(jié),具體如下:第一章簡(jiǎn)單介紹了論文寫(xiě)作的動(dòng)因、目標(biāo)、以及論文的整體框架。第二章為文獻(xiàn)綜述部分,比較了常規(guī)隱喻和詩(shī)歌隱喻的異同,回顧了中西詩(shī)歌隱喻的發(fā)展歷程及研究動(dòng)向,并詳細(xì)介紹了該論文的理論基礎(chǔ)。第三章分析了三大理論的優(yōu)勢(shì)和不足,并在此基礎(chǔ)上創(chuàng)建了詩(shī)歌隱喻解讀的整合模式。第四章先對(duì)詩(shī)歌隱喻進(jìn)行了重新分類(lèi),然后通過(guò)運(yùn)用構(gòu)建模式對(duì)具體詩(shī)歌隱喻的分析來(lái)揭示人類(lèi)語(yǔ)言理解的機(jī)制。第五章為結(jié)束語(yǔ)?偨Y(jié)了該論文的貢獻(xiàn)、不足以及對(duì)未來(lái)研究的一些建議。
[Abstract]:Metaphor has long been regarded as one of the most important ways to express poetic imagination and creativity. Poets often use metaphors to create beauty, beautify ordinary or ugly things and avoid monotony. In recent years, with the efforts of many scholars, especially with the rapid development of cognitive linguistics, the study of poetry and metaphor has been enriched and developed. However, most of the studies on poetry focus on aesthetics and culture, and less on the process of interpretation of poetry from the cognitive level. However, the study of metaphor is mainly focused on the conventional metaphor, and less on the metaphor of poetry. Although poetic metaphor is a kind of metaphor, it has its own novelty, originality and aesthetic characteristics compared with conventional metaphor. These characteristics make it impossible to equate it with conventional metaphor. Therefore, on the basis of previous studies, this paper attempts to establish an integrated model from the perspective of cognitive psychology to interpret metaphors in Chinese and English poetry. This paper first compares the similarities and differences between conventional metaphor and poetic metaphor, and then analyzes the conceptual integration theory. On the basis of the function of similarity principle and inhibition mechanism in the interpretation of poetry metaphor and their respective advantages and disadvantages, the B-S-I model of poetry metaphor interpretation is established. The integration model is applied to the concrete interpretation of various poetic metaphors. Combined with the previous classification and the classification of language structure in systemic functional linguistics, this paper reclassifies poetic metaphor from three levels: phonetic level, lexical and grammatical level and semantic level, which can be subdivided into smaller categories. Through analysis, it is found that the comprehension process of poetic metaphor is a dynamic process in which readers, on the basis of combining linguistic context and background knowledge, constantly activate, associate, suppress and infer, and finally obtain implicit meaning. Through integration, mapping, construction, and other cognitive operations, such as similarity principles and inhibition mechanisms, readers can infer more appropriate implicit meanings. The main contents are as follows: the first chapter briefly introduces the motivation, goal and the whole frame of the thesis. The second chapter is a literature review, which compares the similarities and differences between conventional metaphor and poetic metaphor, reviews the development and research trend of Chinese and Western poetic metaphors, and introduces the theoretical basis of this thesis in detail. The third chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three theories and establishes the integrated model of metaphor interpretation. The fourth chapter first reclassifies the metaphor of poetry and then reveals the mechanism of human language understanding by analyzing the specific metaphor of poetry by using the construction model. The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The contributions and shortcomings of this paper and some suggestions for future research are summarized.
