【摘要】： 本文主要圍繞翻譯批評(píng)領(lǐng)域中的“文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)模式”問(wèn)題展開研究。對(duì)翻譯批評(píng)模式的討論要以系統(tǒng)的翻譯批評(píng)理論為基礎(chǔ),本論文首先通過(guò)回顧中西翻譯批評(píng)理論的大致發(fā)展以及當(dāng)今翻譯批評(píng)理論的發(fā)展趨勢(shì),進(jìn)而探討了翻譯批評(píng)理論與翻譯理論之間相輔相成的關(guān)系、翻譯批評(píng)的原則、主客體,這兩個(gè)步驟對(duì)各派的批評(píng)理論作了系統(tǒng)的梳理和羅列,為之后提出建設(shè)性的批評(píng)模式打下基礎(chǔ)。 相比一些專業(yè)性較強(qiáng)的應(yīng)用文體的翻譯,文學(xué)翻譯的評(píng)價(jià)性研究往往涉及到更多純翻譯理論以外的東西,如原語(yǔ)和目標(biāo)語(yǔ)背景文化的差異,譯者對(duì)作品的藝術(shù)鑒賞力,以及原語(yǔ)風(fēng)格能否通過(guò)目標(biāo)語(yǔ)再現(xiàn)等問(wèn)題。文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)總是與“翻譯風(fēng)格”掛鉤,而風(fēng)格的翻譯往往會(huì)牽涉到“譯文對(duì)原文忠實(shí)與否”問(wèn)題的討論。本文認(rèn)為,翻譯的忠實(shí)程度不僅僅只是對(duì)照原文展開,翻譯作為一種文化交流的工具,必須把目標(biāo)語(yǔ)文化、讀者的反應(yīng)和譯者的風(fēng)格放在同樣重要的地位。從目標(biāo)語(yǔ)文化視角提出的該批評(píng)模式與“功能對(duì)等”的翻譯理論相呼應(yīng),有利于對(duì)譯文更加客觀的評(píng)價(jià)。同時(shí),該模式的提倡更便于目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言表達(dá)方式在翻譯風(fēng)格中的積極發(fā)揮,將目標(biāo)語(yǔ)和源語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)言特色結(jié)合,共同再現(xiàn)原文的風(fēng)格美,既保留原文的風(fēng)格,又融入目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言的特色,真正做到“文化交流”,使更多的目標(biāo)語(yǔ)讀者通過(guò)翻譯(尤其是非專業(yè)的大眾讀者)生動(dòng)自然地欣賞到原文的魅力。 在正式提出該文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)模式前,本文還對(duì)文體翻譯中的“信達(dá)雅”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)以及文化因素做了簡(jiǎn)要的介紹和分析,之后便通過(guò)個(gè)案研究的方法,將該模式應(yīng)用于實(shí)例中,對(duì)《紅樓夢(mèng)》的兩個(gè)英譯本(楊憲益、戴乃迭版本和霍克斯版本)做了初步分析。在對(duì)比了兩譯者不同的時(shí)代背景、文化取向以及翻譯策略后,將該模式應(yīng)用于部分摘選的例句,以證明其可行度以及重視目標(biāo)語(yǔ)文化的重要性。
[Abstract]:This paper focuses on the issue of literary translation criticism in the field of translation criticism. The discussion on the mode of translation criticism should be based on the systematic translation criticism theory. Firstly, this thesis reviews the general development of translation criticism theories in China and the West and the development trend of translation criticism theories nowadays. Furthermore, this paper probes into the complementary relationship between translation criticism theory and translation theory, the principle of translation criticism, the subject and object. These two steps systematically comb and list the criticism theories of various schools. To lay the foundation for constructive criticism mode. Compared with some professional applied style translation, the evaluative study of literary translation often involves more than the pure translation theory, such as the differences between the source language and the background culture of the target language, the translator's appreciation of the art of the work. And whether the original language style can be reproduced through the target language and so on. Literary translation criticism is always linked to translation style, and style translation often involves the discussion of whether the translation is faithful to the original text. This paper argues that the fidelity of translation is not only carried out with reference to the original text, but that translation, as a tool of cultural exchange, must attach equal importance to the culture of the target language, the response of the reader and the style of the translator. From the perspective of target language culture, the model is in line with the translation theory of functional equivalence, which is conducive to a more objective evaluation of the translation. At the same time, the promotion of the model is more conducive to the positive display of the target language expression in the translation style, combining the language characteristics of the target language and the source language, so as to reproduce the stylistic beauty of the original text together, so as to preserve the style of the original text. By incorporating the characteristics of the target language, we can truly achieve "cultural exchange" so that more target language readers can appreciate the charm of the original text vividly and naturally through translation, especially for the non-professional public readers. Before formally proposing the model of literary translation criticism, this paper also briefly introduces and analyzes the criterion of "Cinda elegance" and cultural factors in stylistic translation, and then applies the model to examples through the method of case study. Two English versions of A Dream of Red Mansions (Yang Xianyi, Denadei and Hawkes) are analyzed. After comparing the different background, cultural orientation and translation strategy of the two translators, the model is applied to the selected examples to prove the feasibility and importance of the target language culture.
