【摘要】：最近幾十年國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)《紅樓夢(mèng)》的研究熱度經(jīng)久不衰。內(nèi)容涉及宗教、歷史人物、哲學(xué)觀念、詩(shī)詞曲賦、稱謂、服飾、飲食、花草、茗茶和美酒等諸多方面。但對(duì)于《紅樓夢(mèng)》中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的英譯研究很少,也不夠系統(tǒng)�！都t樓夢(mèng)》中所用藥物、方劑,皆合乎醫(yī)理,選取精當(dāng),所以針對(duì)《紅樓夢(mèng)》中醫(yī)的研究是建立在《紅樓夢(mèng)》中醫(yī)的科學(xué)性的基礎(chǔ)上。楊憲益跟霍克斯兩位譯者關(guān)于《紅樓夢(mèng)》中中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的翻譯融合了各自的翻譯風(fēng)格體現(xiàn)了譯者的術(shù)語(yǔ)意識(shí)及能力。他們對(duì)于中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯的差異性跟規(guī)范性是本研究的基礎(chǔ)。論文運(yùn)用術(shù)語(yǔ)學(xué)理論而且采用歸納分析法、文本對(duì)比法、案例分析法、定量分析法并結(jié)合霍譯跟楊譯《紅樓夢(mèng)》具體分析、探討《紅樓夢(mèng)》中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的翻譯。本文從術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯學(xué)的角度,建立《紅樓夢(mèng)》中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)庫(kù)。通過分析兩譯者關(guān)于中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯概念的對(duì)應(yīng)、命名的規(guī)范性,以及譯者的中醫(yī)文化意識(shí)和翻譯傾向,探討中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯的原則跟策略。定量分析《紅樓夢(mèng)》兩英譯本中中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的翻譯,兼評(píng)兩者翻譯的優(yōu)劣,歸納翻譯策略,在原有中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯策略的基礎(chǔ)上提出建議性的中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯原則與策略。本研究主要完成三個(gè)任務(wù)。第一,對(duì)比分析中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯,并指出誰(shuí)的翻譯更勝一籌。第二,對(duì)兩譯者的翻譯傾向進(jìn)行分析,解釋造成翻譯差異的原因。第三,在前面的對(duì)比分析后得到了哪些啟示�！都t樓夢(mèng)》的中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)只是眾多中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的一部分,雖不全面,但是典型,通過對(duì)《紅樓夢(mèng)》兩譯本中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)英譯的對(duì)比研究,發(fā)現(xiàn)由于文化背景、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、中醫(yī)知識(shí)的差異,兩譯者采用的中醫(yī)翻譯原則跟方法各不相同,從而導(dǎo)致中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的翻譯大相徑庭,影響中醫(yī)的學(xué)習(xí)跟傳播。中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)尚未統(tǒng)一,國(guó)際化進(jìn)程任重道遠(yuǎn),當(dāng)務(wù)之急就是把中醫(yī)的理念介紹到國(guó)外,讓更多人了解中醫(yī)文化,在這個(gè)過程中逐漸消除外界對(duì)于中醫(yī)的偏見,既而在翻譯中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)的過程中,把中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)當(dāng)做科學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)來處理,注重傳達(dá)其醫(yī)學(xué)性,而適當(dāng)放棄其文學(xué)性;注重中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化,并在此基礎(chǔ)上逐步將中醫(yī)術(shù)語(yǔ)納入國(guó)際術(shù)語(yǔ)體系。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, domestic and foreign research on the Dream of Red Mansions has been enduring. The contents include religion, historical figures, philosophy, poetry, appellation, clothing, diet, flowers and plants, tea and wine. However, there is little or no systematic study on the translation of the terms of "Dream of Red Mansions" into Chinese medicine. The medicines and prescriptions used in "Dream of Red Mansions" are all in line with the principles of medicine. Therefore, the study of TCM is based on the scientific basis of TCM. The translation of Chinese medicine terms by Yang Xianyi and Hawkes shows the translator's sense and ability of terms. Their differences and standardization in the translation of TCM terms are the basis of this study. This paper uses terminology theory and uses inductive analysis method, text contrast method, case analysis method, quantitative analysis method and combining with the concrete analysis of Huo and Yang's translation of A Dream of Red Mansions, to explore the translation of TCM terms of "Dream of Red Mansions". From the perspective of term translation, this paper establishes the Chinese medicine terminology database of Dream of Red Mansions. This paper discusses the principles and strategies of translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms by analyzing the corresponding concepts of translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms, the standardization of naming, as well as the translator's cultural consciousness and translation tendency of traditional Chinese medicine. A quantitative analysis of the translation of TCM terms in two English versions of "Dream of Red Mansions" is made, together with a review of their translation advantages and disadvantages, a summary of translation strategies, and a proposal for the translation principles and strategies of TCM terms on the basis of the original translation strategies of TCM terms. This research mainly completes three tasks. First, comparative analysis of the translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms, and point out whose translation is better. Second, the translation tendency of the two translators is analyzed to explain the causes of translation differences. Thirdly, what enlightenments have been obtained from the previous comparative analysis. The Chinese medicine terms in "A Dream of Red Mansions" are only part of many Chinese medicine terms, although they are not comprehensive, but typically, through a comparative study of the English translation of traditional Chinese medicine terms in the two versions of "Dream of Red Mansions", It is found that due to the differences of cultural background, language knowledge and knowledge of TCM, the translation principles and methods adopted by the two translators are different, which leads to different translation of TCM terms and affects the learning and dissemination of TCM. The standard of translation of Chinese medicine terms has not yet been unified, and the internationalization process has a long way to go. The urgent task is to introduce the concept of traditional Chinese medicine abroad so that more people can understand the culture of traditional Chinese medicine, and gradually eliminate the prejudice of the outside world towards traditional Chinese medicine in the process. Therefore, in the process of translating TCM terms, we should treat them as scientific terms, pay attention to communicating their medical nature, and give up their literariness properly, and pay attention to the standardization of translation of TCM terms. On this basis, TCM terminology is gradually brought into the international terminology system.
