笛福與圖尼埃筆下魯濱遜形象的生態(tài)學(xué)解讀

【摘要】: 18世紀(jì)英國小說家丹尼爾·笛福與20世紀(jì)法國作家米歇爾·圖尼埃都塑造了魯濱遜這一形象。兩個(gè)作者所講述的魯濱遜故事在題材上有著很強(qiáng)的同源性,但內(nèi)蘊(yùn)卻截然不同。 笛福的魯濱遜是資產(chǎn)階級(jí)新人形象的代表,體現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)烈的進(jìn)取心和征服欲,是人類文明和價(jià)值觀的捍衛(wèi)者;禮拜五則是野蠻和愚昧的代名詞,自然除了工具價(jià)值之外不具備任何意義。而在圖尼埃的筆下,魯濱遜蘊(yùn)含著深刻的哲理意義,他在征服、改造自然取得成果后又反思其行動(dòng)的正義性,逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到現(xiàn)代文明的進(jìn)步是建立在對自然的破壞上,進(jìn)而對現(xiàn)代文明失望乃至絕望;禮拜五在圖尼埃的作品中被賦予了新意,從被動(dòng)的接受者和愚昧的他者變成了現(xiàn)代文明人的教導(dǎo)者;自然在圖尼埃的筆下也從機(jī)械物質(zhì)變成了精神家園。 生態(tài)批評興起于20世紀(jì)中后期的歐美,是對日益突出的環(huán)境問題的直接回應(yīng)。生態(tài)批評反思造成環(huán)境問題的社會(huì)文化根源,將批判矛頭直指西方文化內(nèi)部。在生態(tài)批評的視野下分析笛福的《魯濱遜漂流記》和圖尼埃的《禮拜五——太平洋上的靈薄獄》、《魯濱遜·克羅索的結(jié)局》中的魯濱遜形象,揭示前者被遮蔽的反生態(tài)思想和后者蘊(yùn)含的生態(tài)性因素,有助于重審這三部作品的意義。
[Abstract]:Daniel Defoe, an English novelist in the 18 th century, and Michel Tournier, a French writer in the 20 th century, both shaped the image of Robinson. The two writers tell Robinson stories with strong homology in subject matter, but the connotations are quite different. Robinson of Defoe is the representative of the image of the new bourgeoisie, which embodies a strong desire for enterprise and subjugation, and is the guardian of human civilization and values, and Friday is a synonym for barbarism and ignorance. Nature has no meaning but the value of tools. In Tournier's works, Robinson contains profound philosophical significance. After conquering and transforming nature, he reflects on the justice of his actions, and gradually realizes that the progress of modern civilization is based on the destruction of nature. On Friday, Tournier's works were endowed with new ideas, from the passive receiver and the ignorant other to the modern civilized person's teacher. Nature in Tournier's pen also changed from mechanical material to spiritual home. The rise of ecological criticism in Europe and America in the middle and late 20th century is a direct response to the increasingly prominent environmental problems. Ecological criticism reflects on the social and cultural roots of environmental problems and points the criticism at the inside of western culture. From the perspective of ecological criticism, we analyze the image of Robinson in Defoe's Crusoe Crusoe and Tournier's' Friday-Pacific Soul in the Pacific, 'the ending of Robinson Crosso. It is helpful to review the significance of the three works by revealing the anti-ecological thoughts of the former and the ecological factors contained in the latter.
