【摘要】：《詩經(jīng)》是中國(guó)第一部詩歌總集,也是中國(guó)文化經(jīng)典之一,其采用的表現(xiàn)手法代表了中國(guó)古典詩歌的藝術(shù)傳統(tǒng),對(duì)中國(guó)文學(xué)作品的語言形式和體裁結(jié)構(gòu)產(chǎn)生了重要影響�！对娊�(jīng)》翻譯最早開始于十八世紀(jì)的歐洲,其英語翻譯歷史迄今已逾百年。目前,關(guān)于《詩經(jīng)》的翻譯研究已有了一定的基礎(chǔ),但從闡釋學(xué),尤其是哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)視角來對(duì)其翻譯進(jìn)行分析的研究尚不多見。闡釋學(xué)是專門研究理解和解釋的學(xué)科,它源于對(duì)圣經(jīng)的理解和解釋,經(jīng)眾多學(xué)者,如施萊爾馬赫、狄爾泰和海德格爾等,研究之后,最終由伽達(dá)默爾發(fā)展為系統(tǒng)的哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)。不同于傳統(tǒng)闡釋學(xué)對(duì)文本本意的客觀服從,哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)認(rèn)為,由于受歷史、文化、社會(huì)等多種因素影響,闡釋者不可能完全復(fù)制原文本的意義,而且在闡釋時(shí)有一定的自主性。翻譯與闡釋學(xué)在本質(zhì)上存在聯(lián)系,因?yàn)闊o論是哪種類型的翻譯,它們都會(huì)對(duì)原文進(jìn)行理解與解釋。哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)被引入翻譯領(lǐng)域之后,突破了傳統(tǒng)譯論對(duì)“標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”翻譯的追求,打破了“作者至上”的觀念,為翻譯研究提供了新視角。本文擬從哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)這一理論視角出發(fā),對(duì)《詩經(jīng)》不同英譯本進(jìn)行分析和研究。本文所選取的研究對(duì)象是理雅各1871年的非韻體譯本和許淵沖1993年的韻體譯本。理雅各是西方第一位將《詩經(jīng)》完整譯成英文的學(xué)者,他的翻譯被視為《詩經(jīng)》翻譯史上的一座里程碑,而許淵沖則是中國(guó)第一位完整英譯《詩經(jīng)》的學(xué)者。因此,這兩個(gè)譯本具有很大的研究意義。本研究的目的不在于比較這兩個(gè)《詩經(jīng)》譯本的翻譯策略和翻譯風(fēng)格,也不在于評(píng)價(jià)這兩個(gè)譯本的優(yōu)劣,而在于從哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)三大原則,即“理解的歷史性”、“視域融合”及“效果歷史”出發(fā),深入分析理雅各和許淵沖兩英譯本之間的差異,揭示不同時(shí)期不同文化背景下出現(xiàn)不同《詩經(jīng)》英譯的深層原因,并探討哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)對(duì)詩經(jīng)翻譯及翻譯研究的意義。
[Abstract]:The Book of songs is the first collection of Chinese poetry and one of the classics of Chinese culture, which represents the artistic tradition of Chinese classical poetry. The translation of the Book of songs first began in Europe in the 18th century, and its English translation history has been more than 100 years. The translation study of the Book of songs has a certain foundation, but there are few studies on its translation from the perspective of hermeneutics, especially philosophical hermeneutics. Hermeneutics is a discipline specialized in understanding and interpretation. It originates from the understanding and interpretation of the Bible, which has been studied by many scholars, such as Schlermach, Dilthey and Heidegger. Finally, from Gadamer to systematic philosophical hermeneutics. Different from traditional hermeneutics' objective adherence to text, philosophical hermeneutics believes that it is influenced by history, culture, society and other factors. Hermeneutics is not capable of completely replicating the meaning of the original text and has some autonomy in interpretation. Translation and hermeneutics are intrinsically related, because no matter what type of translation, After philosophical hermeneutics was introduced into the field of translation, it broke through the traditional translation theory's pursuit of "standard" translation and broke the concept of "authorship first". It provides a new perspective for translation studies. This thesis intends to proceed from the theoretical perspective of philosophical hermeneutics. This paper analyzes and studies the different English versions of the Book of songs. The research objects of this thesis are the non-rhyme versions of Reich James in 1871 and the rhyme versions of Xu Yuanchong in 1993. He is the first western scholar to complete the translation of the Book of songs into English. His translation is regarded as a milestone in the history of translation of the Book of songs, and Xu Yuanchong is the first complete translation of the Book of songs in China. The purpose of this study is not to compare the translation strategies and translation styles of the two versions of the Book of songs, nor to evaluate the merits and demerits of the two versions, but to study the three principles of philosophical hermeneutics. Starting from "Historical understanding", "Horizon Fusion" and "History of effects", this paper makes a thorough analysis of the differences between the English versions of James and Xu Yuanchong, and reveals the deep reasons for the different translation of the Book of songs in different cultural backgrounds in different periods. It also discusses the significance of philosophical hermeneutics in the translation and translation studies of the Book of songs.
