基于語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的3-6歲兒童文學(xué)英漢翻譯常規(guī)化研究

【摘要】:低幼兒童文學(xué)主要針對(duì)3至6歲低幼兒童,是最能體現(xiàn)兒童讀物語(yǔ)言特色的特殊文學(xué)體裁。本文自建小型漢語(yǔ)可比語(yǔ)料庫(kù),借助現(xiàn)代語(yǔ)料庫(kù)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的研究工具和研究方法,從詞匯、句法和篇章層面對(duì)比漢譯和原創(chuàng)漢語(yǔ)低幼兒童文學(xué),觀察常規(guī)化和異化現(xiàn)象,并分析導(dǎo)致常規(guī)化及異化的成因以及兩種現(xiàn)象趨勢(shì)對(duì)低幼兒童文學(xué)作品的影響。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),漢譯低幼兒童文學(xué)中既存在常規(guī)化趨勢(shì),也存在不同于原創(chuàng)漢語(yǔ)的變異特點(diǎn)。常規(guī)化趨勢(shì)在詞匯層面最為明顯,體現(xiàn)在漢譯作品與漢語(yǔ)非翻譯作品的詞性分布模式類似,名詞使用頻率低于原創(chuàng)而動(dòng)詞頻率高于非翻譯作品,典型語(yǔ)氣助詞使用頻率較高,高頻詞使用頻率較高且與非翻譯兒童文學(xué)重合率較高。句法和篇章層面常規(guī)化趨勢(shì)較弱,典型“被“字句使用頻率及被動(dòng)句消極語(yǔ)義韻使用頻率高于非翻譯文本,常用連接詞使用頻率高于原創(chuàng),第三人稱照應(yīng)均為回指照應(yīng)。異化趨勢(shì)在句法和篇章層面最顯著,句法上漢譯低幼兒童文學(xué)中的平均句塊長(zhǎng)度長(zhǎng)于原創(chuàng)作品,長(zhǎng)被動(dòng)句比例低于短被動(dòng)句,篇章上顯性語(yǔ)篇銜接明顯,連接詞及人稱代詞頻率均遠(yuǎn)高于原創(chuàng)作品。詞匯異化趨勢(shì)較弱,表現(xiàn)在功能詞總體占比高于非翻譯文本而語(yǔ)氣助詞占比遠(yuǎn)低于非翻譯文本,且常用詞豐富度略高。此外,分析發(fā)現(xiàn),譯文中的常規(guī)化和異化既有優(yōu)勢(shì),也有劣勢(shì)。適度常規(guī)化的文本順應(yīng)譯入語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言規(guī)范,降低語(yǔ)言文化引起的閱讀障礙,更易被識(shí)字率較低的低幼兒童讀者所接收;過(guò)度規(guī)范的表達(dá)使作品生動(dòng)性和口語(yǔ)化程度降低。適度異化可以提高兒童閱讀興趣,有助于兒童對(duì)隱性語(yǔ)義邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)的理解;過(guò)度異化會(huì)導(dǎo)致結(jié)構(gòu)冗余和語(yǔ)法混亂。漢譯兒童文學(xué)語(yǔ)言常規(guī)化的產(chǎn)生主要源于“譯入語(yǔ)導(dǎo)向”和“讀者導(dǎo)向”譯者主體性的發(fā)揮;而變異主要源于源語(yǔ)介入滲透以及“讀者導(dǎo)向”譯者主體性。因此譯者要根據(jù)當(dāng)前社會(huì)文化背景以及讀者的期待,權(quán)衡常規(guī)化和異化利弊,合理發(fā)揮譯者主體性,以滿足兒童讀者的閱讀期待,實(shí)現(xiàn)兒童文學(xué)在滿足兒童心理愉悅和知識(shí)教育方面的社會(huì)功能。本文基于自建語(yǔ)料庫(kù),對(duì)漢譯低幼兒童文學(xué)語(yǔ)言常規(guī)化特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行研究,有助于深入了解當(dāng)代低幼兒童文學(xué)作品的翻譯現(xiàn)狀,也有利于拓寬兒童文學(xué)翻譯研究的方法與視角。同時(shí),本文亦旨在為兒童文學(xué)翻譯實(shí)踐與批評(píng)提供指導(dǎo)意義。
[Abstract]:Primary-age 's children's literature is a special literary genre which can best reflect the language characteristics of children's books, mainly aimed at the children aged 3 to 6 years. This paper builds a small comparable corpus of Chinese, and makes use of the tools and methods of modern corpus linguistics. Contrasting Chinese translation and original Chinese primary-age 's children's literature from lexical, syntactic and textual levels, observing the phenomenon of regularization and alienation, It also analyzes the causes of the regularization and alienation and the influence of the two phenomena on primary-age 's children's literature works. The study finds that there is a regularization trend in the Chinese translation of primary-age 's children's literature. There are also variations different from original Chinese. The tendency of regularization is most obvious at the lexical level, which is reflected in the similar distribution pattern of parts of speech between Chinese-translated works and Chinese untranslated works. Noun use frequency is lower than original, verb frequency is higher than untranslated work, typical modal auxiliary is used more frequently, high frequency words are used more frequently and overlap rate with untranslated children's literature is higher, syntactic and textual regularization trend is weak. The usage frequency of typical "Bei" sentence and passive sentence negative semantic rhyme is higher than that of untranslated text, the frequency of commonly used conjunction is higher than that of original, the third person anaphora is anaphoric anaphora. The trend of alienation is most obvious at syntactic and textual level. Syntactically, the average length of sentences in primary-age 's children's literature is longer than that of original works, and the proportion of long passive sentences is lower than that of short passive sentences. The frequency of conjunctions and personal pronouns is much higher than that of original works. The tendency of lexical alienation is weak, which shows that the proportion of functional words is higher than that of non-translated texts, and the proportion of modal auxiliary words is much lower than that of non-translated texts, and the richness of common words is slightly higher. It is found that the regularization and alienation in the target text have both advantages and disadvantages. The moderately regularized text conforms to the target language norms, reduces the reading barriers caused by language and culture, and is more easily accepted by primary-age children with low literacy rate. The excessive expression of norms reduces the vividness and colloquialization of the works. Moderate alienation can enhance children's reading interest and help children to understand the implicit semantic logic association. Excessive alienation will lead to structural redundancy and grammatical confusion. The regularization of children's literary language in Chinese translation is mainly due to the exertion of the translator's subjectivity in "target language orientation" and "reader orientation". The variation is mainly due to the penetration of the source language and the "reader-oriented" translator's subjectivity. Therefore, the translator should weigh the advantages and disadvantages of regularization and alienation according to the current social and cultural background and readers' expectations, and give full play to the translator's subjectivity. In order to meet the reading expectations of children and realize the social function of children's literature in satisfying children's psychological pleasure and knowledge education, this paper studies the regularized features of primary-age 's translation of children's literature language based on the self-built corpus. It is not only helpful to understand the current situation of the translation of contemporary primary-age 's children's literature works, but also to broaden the methods and perspectives of children's literature translation research. At the same time, this paper also aims to provide guidance for the translation practice and criticism of children's literature.
