【摘要】：近年來,隨著全球經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化進(jìn)程的不斷推進(jìn),大量外國文學(xué)作品被引入中國市場(chǎng),不斷充實(shí)著國人的閱讀生活。美國著名奇幻小說家喬治·R·R·馬丁所著的《冰與火之歌》是當(dāng)代奇幻文學(xué)界不可多得的佳作,自出版以來便席卷全球,于世界各國頻獲大獎(jiǎng)。Dan Sperber和Deidre Wilson于1986年提出的關(guān)聯(lián)理論是近年來西方認(rèn)知語用學(xué)領(lǐng)域中,其試圖從大腦認(rèn)知活動(dòng)角度回答有關(guān)人類交際的哲學(xué)問題。Ernest-August Gutt率先將關(guān)聯(lián)理論應(yīng)用于翻譯研究中。他指出翻譯是一種語言交際行為,是與大腦機(jī)制密切聯(lián)系的推理過程。本文選取《冰與火之歌:權(quán)力的游戲》英語原本及漢語、德語譯本為研究對(duì)象。英漢德三語讀者所持有的語境信息不同,且英漢間及英德間的語言差異程度及文化遠(yuǎn)近亦有所差異,因此,本文將以此為出發(fā)點(diǎn),對(duì)比分析漢語及德語譯者的翻譯策略,考察兩者對(duì)在形式和內(nèi)容間的取舍,評(píng)析兩位譯者是否正確捕捉原作者期望傳達(dá)的信息及交際意圖,是否考慮到各自譯文讀者的信息儲(chǔ)備及閱讀習(xí)慣,將讀者的推理距離和取得的語境效果控制在同原文讀者相同的水平,從而取得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the continuous advancement of the process of global economic integration, a large number of foreign literary works have been introduced into the Chinese market. The song of ice and fire by George R.R. Martin, a famous American fantasy novelist, is a rare masterpiece in contemporary fantasy literature, which has swept the world since its publication. In 1986, relevance Theory, proposed by Dan Sperber and Deidre Wilson, has won awards from all over the world in recent years in the field of cognitive pragmatics in the West. It tries to answer philosophical questions about human communication from the perspective of brain cognitive activity. Ernest-August. Gutt takes the lead in applying relevance theory to translation studies, pointing out that translation is a communicative activity. It is a reasoning process closely related to the brain mechanism. This paper selects the English original and the Chinese and German versions of the Song of Ice and Fire: a Game of Thrones as the research subjects. The contextual information held by the English-Chinese and Germanic readers is different. There are also some differences between English and Chinese and between English and German, as well as between English and German. Therefore, this thesis will take this as a starting point to compare and analyze the translation strategies of Chinese and German translators. This paper examines the trade-offs between form and content, and analyzes whether the translators correctly capture the intended information and communicative intention of the original author, and whether they take into account the information reserve and reading habits of the readers of their respective translations. The inference distance and contextual effect of the readers are controlled to the same level as the original readers so as to obtain the best relevance.
