【摘要】：自1983年愛德華.賽義德提出“旅行理論”這一概念以來(lái),“旅行理論”為翻譯研究提供了一個(gè)嶄新的視角,也為致力于翻譯研究的學(xué)者打開了一扇窗。和翻譯一樣,旅行也是人類文化傳播的重要方法之一,旅行是指人從一個(gè)地方出發(fā)到達(dá)另外一個(gè)地方的跨越邊境的行為。翻譯與旅行也有許多相似之處,它也包括了時(shí)間和空間上的位移,同時(shí)其本身也是一種跨文化交際的行為。因此,我們可以把翻譯理解為文本從一種文化環(huán)境到另一種文化環(huán)境的跨境旅行。賽義德認(rèn)為文本的旅行過(guò)程與理論的旅行過(guò)程是一致的。文本的旅行經(jīng)歷出發(fā)、旅程和到達(dá)三個(gè)階段。首先,譯者有目的地選擇文本進(jìn)行翻譯標(biāo)志著文本旅行的開始,在旅行的過(guò)程中,為了能夠被接受語(yǔ)文化所接收,文本會(huì)在譯者的操控下經(jīng)歷一系列語(yǔ)言和文化上的變形。當(dāng)文本旅行最終到達(dá)一個(gè)新的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境時(shí),它可能被新環(huán)境抑制或者接受。本文以張賢亮的小說(shuō)《男人的一半是女人》為個(gè)案,以賽義德的“旅行理論”為框架,分析了《男人的一半是女人》在翻譯旅行過(guò)程中經(jīng)歷的變形與誤讀,通過(guò)對(duì)小說(shuō)的中英文進(jìn)行比照和分析,本文闡明了小說(shuō)《男人的一半是女人》的英譯本是如何受到不同文化語(yǔ)境影響的以及文本的變形和誤讀是如何形成的。文章認(rèn)為,文本在旅行的過(guò)程中,為了適應(yīng)當(dāng)時(shí)美國(guó)世界的個(gè)人主義、反中國(guó)和反共產(chǎn)主義主流意識(shí)形態(tài)以及當(dāng)時(shí)反映個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)與奮斗的詩(shī)學(xué),當(dāng)文本到達(dá)西方世界時(shí),文本不可避免地出現(xiàn)一系列的變異與誤讀。這些變異與誤讀主要體現(xiàn)在對(duì)原文的政治詞匯、習(xí)語(yǔ)、西北方言、一些有關(guān)性的詞匯及粗俗詞匯的翻譯。
[Abstract]:Since Edward said put forward the concept of "travel theory" in 1983, "travel theory" has provided a new perspective for translation studies. It also opens a window for scholars devoted to translation studies. Like translation, travel is one of the most important methods of cultural communication. Travel is the act of crossing a border from one place to another. There are many similarities between translation and travel, which also include displacement in time and space. At the same time, it is also a cross-cultural communication behavior. Translation can be understood as the cross-border travel of text from one cultural environment to another. Said believes that the travel process of the text is consistent with the theoretical travel process. First of all, the translator purposefully chooses the text for translation to mark the beginning of the text travel, in order to be accepted by the accepted culture during the journey. The text will undergo a series of linguistic and cultural transformations under the control of the translator. When the text travels to a new language environment. It may be suppressed or accepted by the new environment. This paper takes Zhang Xianliang's novel "half of Men as Women" as a case study, and takes said's "Travel Theory" as a framework. This paper analyzes the transformation and misreading of "half of a man is a woman" in the course of translation and travel, and compares and analyzes the English and Chinese of the novel. This paper illustrates how the English translation of the novel Men half Women is influenced by different cultural contexts and how the text is distorted and misread. The article argues that the text is in the process of travel. In order to adapt to the individualism of the American world at that time, the mainstream ideology of anti-China and anti-communism, as well as the poetics which reflected the personal growth and struggle at that time, when the text arrived in the Western world. Inevitably, a series of variations and misunderstandings occur in the text, which are mainly reflected in the translation of political vocabulary, idioms, northwest dialects, some related words and vulgar words of the original text.
