【摘要】： 規(guī)定性翻譯研究,顧名思義,就是從一個規(guī)定性的角度去研究翻譯。它試圖建立一個統(tǒng)一的翻譯標準,并要求所有的翻譯都能夠遵從這一標準。但是,由于各種因素的影響,包括語篇因素,文化因素,在現(xiàn)實當中,所謂的統(tǒng)一的翻譯標準很少、或是根本就無法建立。而描述性翻譯研究則主張首先承認所有的既成翻譯結果,然后探索影響這種翻譯產(chǎn)生的所有因素,包括語言上的,文化上的,社會歷史上的。因此,它能夠有效地避免死板的標準對于靈活多變的語言的桎梏。 關于被字句的翻譯,已有不少的研究。但是,一方面很多都是從英漢被動句的對比角度考慮的,它們試圖找到一個翻譯被動句的統(tǒng)一標準,而在具體翻譯被字句過程中會遇到的語篇因素往往得不到重視。另一方面,雖然也有一些學者從語篇方面去研究被動句,但多數(shù)都是在單一研究被動句的語篇功能,而沒有結合語篇因素到翻譯中。而且實際上漢語中被字句和被動句并不完全是一個概念。 本文旨在通過描述性翻譯研究方法對《紅樓夢》中的被字句翻譯進行研究,尋找具體翻譯行為背后的特征及其影響因素,而不是根據(jù)某一標準來判定哪一種翻譯的更好。把被字句的翻譯放在具體的語境中,一者可以更全面具體地研究其中的影響因素,二者也希望可以為以后具體的翻譯行為提供一些參考。
[Abstract]:Prescriptive translation studies, as the name implies, is to study translation from a prescriptive point of view. It attempts to establish a unified translation standard and requires all translations to comply with this standard. Due to the influence of various factors, including textual factors and cultural factors, in reality, the so-called unified translation standards are few. While descriptive translation studies advocate first acknowledging all the established translation results and then exploring all the factors affecting such translation, including linguistic and cultural ones. Therefore, it can effectively avoid the shackles of rigid standards to flexible language. There has been a lot of research on the translation of passive sentences. However, on the one hand, many of them are considered from the contrastive point of view of English and Chinese passive sentences, and they try to find a unified standard for translation of passive sentences. On the other hand, some scholars study passive sentences from the perspective of discourse. However, most of them study the textual functions of passive sentences without integrating the textual factors into translation, and in fact, the passive sentences and the passive sentences in Chinese are not completely a concept. The purpose of this paper is to study the translation of the words and phrases in A Dream of Red Mansions by descriptive translation methods, and to find out the characteristics behind the specific translation behaviors and their influencing factors. Instead of judging which translation is better according to a certain criterion, if we put the translation of the words and phrases in a specific context, one can study the influencing factors more comprehensively and concretely. They also hope to provide some references for specific translation activities in the future.
