【摘要】: 本文試圖將概念隱喻用于小說情節(jié)發(fā)展的研究。通過研究,旨在找出在小說的情節(jié)中概念隱喻如何表現(xiàn),以及其對小說情節(jié)發(fā)展的作用。以往對小說的研究多是將其作為一種敘事模式,從結(jié)構(gòu)分析的角度對其進行研究,其目的大多在于發(fā)現(xiàn)小說的語言形式、結(jié)構(gòu)特色及其藝術(shù)風(fēng)格等。但是,小說雖然是敘事的一種模式,卻有著不同于其他敘事形式的特征。這就是小說語言體現(xiàn)了一種與現(xiàn)實世界的虛構(gòu)關(guān)系。在小說中,語言與其所指的現(xiàn)實世界是存在差異的。也正是由于這個原因,我們經(jīng)常會在閱讀小說的過程中發(fā)現(xiàn)一些荒謬可笑、甚至難以理解的表達方式。在這種情況下,如果我們想要對小說有一個合理正確的理解的話,那么僅僅從語言結(jié)構(gòu)的角度對其進行分析是絕對不夠的。當(dāng)然我們不能否認的是小說作為一種敘事形式,是由語言構(gòu)成的,并且這些語言的使用給小說帶來了很多藝術(shù)效果。但是要想更好地理解小說,我們?nèi)匀挥斜匾页鲆粋理論框架來連接小說中的語言和語言所指的世界。概念轉(zhuǎn)喻就是這樣一個理論框架。對于小說的作者和讀者來說,概念轉(zhuǎn)喻都是一種最基本的推理和選擇的認知模式。因此,在組織和建構(gòu)小說的過程中,小說的作者會利用自己的概念轉(zhuǎn)喻對語言進行選擇。另一方面,在閱讀小說的過程中,小說的讀者也會根據(jù)自己的概念轉(zhuǎn)喻和對世界的認識進行理解和推理。這樣,作者、小說、讀者和小說所指的世界之間由于概念轉(zhuǎn)喻就形成了某種關(guān)系。這種關(guān)系有助于實現(xiàn)小說和所指世界的一致,有助于讀者的對小說所指世界的理解并且形成自己的虛構(gòu)世界。 本文并沒有將整篇小說作為研究對象,而是選擇了其中某些情節(jié)作為其研究對象。本文將概念轉(zhuǎn)喻應(yīng)用于對小說情節(jié)和情節(jié)發(fā)展的研究上,希望能發(fā)現(xiàn)小說情節(jié)中的概念轉(zhuǎn)喻的使用,以及這些概念轉(zhuǎn)喻模式對小說情節(jié)發(fā)展有什么作用。為此,首先需要界定什么是小說的一個情節(jié)。為了回答這個問題,本文引用了Labov和Waletzky的敘事結(jié)構(gòu)分析框架。本文根據(jù)這個框架的分類,分別舉例分析了概念轉(zhuǎn)喻在情節(jié)發(fā)展各個部分上的表現(xiàn)和作用。 通過研究,我們發(fā)現(xiàn),概念轉(zhuǎn)喻在小說情節(jié)發(fā)展的各個環(huán)節(jié)都有很豐富的表現(xiàn),并且對情節(jié)發(fā)展起到了重要的作用。而在這各種概念轉(zhuǎn)喻模式中,整體與部分、部分與整體、子事件與整體事件、整體事件與子事件的概念轉(zhuǎn)喻關(guān)系是作者在構(gòu)建小說情節(jié)時最常使用的關(guān)系。通過這些概念轉(zhuǎn)喻模式,讀者總是傾向于將情節(jié)發(fā)展中人物身上發(fā)生的事件應(yīng)用于更大的社會群體或社會階層。敘事過程中經(jīng)常會出現(xiàn)敘事不足的問題。而轉(zhuǎn)喻不僅能夠?qū)ζ溥M行彌補,并且能為讀者提供更多的機會想象和形成自己的小說虛構(gòu)世界。概念轉(zhuǎn)喻使得作者在組織和構(gòu)建小說情節(jié)發(fā)展時能夠選擇出最顯著、最核心的語言特征;另一方面,概念轉(zhuǎn)喻也使得讀者能夠更好的理解小說語言和小說所指的世界,并且據(jù)此形成自己的虛構(gòu)世界。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to apply the conceptual metaphor for plot development. Through the research, to find out how the conceptual metaphor in the plot of the novel, and its effect on plot development. Previous studies on the novel is as a kind of narrative mode, to study it from the perspective of structural analysis, the most is that the language of the novel form, structure characteristics and artistic style. However, although the novel is a kind of narrative mode, but have different characteristics from other narrative forms. This is the language of the novel embodies a fictional relationship with the real world. In the novel, its language refers to the real world is there the difference. It is for this reason, we often find some ridiculous in the process of reading the novel, even incomprehensible expressions. In this case, if we want to There is a reasonable understanding of the novels, is absolutely not enough just from the perspective of structural analysis. Of course, we cannot deny that the novel as a narrative form, is constituted by language, bring a lot of artistic effect and the use of these languages to the novel. But in order to better to understand the novel, we still need to find out a theoretical framework to connect the novel language and language refers to the world. Conceptual metonymy is such a theoretical framework. The author and the reader to the novel, is a cognitive model of metonymy reasoning and a fundamental. Therefore, in the process of organization and the construction of the novel, the author of the novel will choose to use their own language conceptual metonymy. On the other hand, in the process of reading the novel in the novel, readers will according to the concept of metonymy and their Understanding and reasoning knowledge of the world. In this way, the author, the novel, between the reader and the fiction refers to the world because of the conceptual metonymy formed a relationship. This relationship is helpful to realize the novel and refers to the world, to help the reader of fiction refers to understanding of the world and the formation of his fictional world.
This is not the will of the novel as the research object, but the choice of some of the plot as the research object. This paper will be applied to the study of conceptual metonymy of the novel plot and plot development, hoping to find the use of conceptual metonymy within the plot of the novel, and the concept of metonymy is what the plot for. First of all, we need to define what is a plot of the novel. In order to answer this question, this paper cites the narrative structure of Labov and Waletzky framework. Based on this framework, respectively analyzes the expression and function of conceptual metonymy in various parts of the development of the plot.
Through the research, we found that conceptual metonymy are very abundant in all aspects of the novel, and the plot development plays an important role. In the various conceptual metonymy mode, the whole and the part, the part and the whole, and the whole event sub events, events and events of the whole concept of metonymy relationship is most often used in the construction of the plot of the novel is the author. Through these conceptual metonymy mode, the reader will always tend to plot in the development and application of characters events in larger social groups or social class.
