【摘要】：科幻小說是通俗小說的一種,也是西方流行文化必不可少的組成部分�？苹眯≌f1900年通過翻譯傳入中國,并在小說界革命和新文化運(yùn)動(dòng)中發(fā)揮了重要作用。然而,科幻小說在中國近一個(gè)世紀(jì)的發(fā)展卻未能盡如人意。研究者大多認(rèn)為,中國最早一批科幻小說翻譯家的翻譯水準(zhǔn)低下,是造成這一狀況的罪魁禍?zhǔn)��？墒?以現(xiàn)代人的角度出發(fā)去評(píng)判當(dāng)時(shí)的翻譯狀況,并把責(zé)任完全歸于歷史,是有失公允的。評(píng)判譯者和他們的翻譯作品時(shí),應(yīng)該置身于他們?cè)舅鶎俚纳鐣?huì)環(huán)境,還應(yīng)該綜合考慮眾多社會(huì)因素。本文在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上,從布迪厄社會(huì)學(xué)的角度出發(fā),分析對(duì)1900至1919年間科幻翻譯有著重要影響的意識(shí)形態(tài)和文化因素,從而使人們對(duì)于科幻小說的引進(jìn),經(jīng)典科幻作家的接受以及翻譯過程中譯者,作者,讀者,出版者和社會(huì)歷史背景等社會(huì)因素的相互影響有一個(gè)更綜合更全面的認(rèn)識(shí)。 論文共由六部分組成。第一部分是導(dǎo)論,介紹了科幻小說和本文的學(xué)術(shù)背景,本研究的意義,研究方法和寫作框架。 第二部分是文獻(xiàn)綜述,概述了前人對(duì)中國科幻小說翻譯以及對(duì)社會(huì)翻譯學(xué)的研究情況。 第三部分是理論基礎(chǔ),介紹了布迪厄的社會(huì)學(xué)概念：場(chǎng)域,慣習(xí)和文化資本。 第四部分從作者,主題,譯者和出版商四個(gè)方面對(duì)1900年至1919年中國科幻翻譯的特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了分析。 第五部分包括四個(gè)案例分析：作為先鋒科幻翻譯者的梁?jiǎn)⒊?炙手可熱的凡爾納,對(duì)時(shí)間空間探險(xiǎn)和新技術(shù)的狂熱愛好,和過分自由的翻譯方法。 第六部分對(duì)全文做了概括性總結(jié),并對(duì)今后的研究提出了幾點(diǎn)建議。 通過分析,本文認(rèn)為1900至1919的翻譯狀況是各個(gè)社會(huì)組成部分在不同社會(huì)領(lǐng)域相互作用以及不同資本相互轉(zhuǎn)化的影響下的體現(xiàn)。翻譯的影響從根本上來講是社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)政治因素的影響。因此未來的科幻小說研究應(yīng)該摒棄這一指責(zé)早期科幻譯者的做法,向更新的研究領(lǐng)域邁進(jìn)。
