【摘要】：文以載道，中國(guó)古詩(shī)作為中華民族精神的重要載體，在當(dāng)今文化大交融的時(shí)代，成為了傳輸中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化的重要渠道，也使得越來越多的國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者投身于中國(guó)古詩(shī)的翻譯中來。然而，中國(guó)古詩(shī)英譯，絕非簡(jiǎn)單的語言轉(zhuǎn)換過程，而是要還原其意境與情趣。在這方面，汪榕培教授的古詩(shī)英譯技巧非常具有指導(dǎo)性。一是他在古詩(shī)英譯實(shí)踐中做到了“以詩(shī)譯詩(shī)，形神皆似”；二是其譯作大多遵循他所提出的“傳神達(dá)意”這一古詩(shī)英譯原則及其翻譯技巧。 本文主要研究汪榕培教授詩(shī)歌英譯的翻譯技巧，圍繞著汪教授古詩(shī)英譯的翻譯技巧的特點(diǎn)和這些翻譯技巧在其翻譯實(shí)踐中的體現(xiàn)來展開研究。 基于以上研究問題，本文以《詩(shī)經(jīng)》、《陶淵明集》、《漢魏六朝詩(shī)三百首》、《楓橋夜泊》四部作品作為研究對(duì)象，選擇了Arthur Waley，James Legge，Burton Watson和許淵沖等人的英譯版本與汪教授的譯本進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究，通過分析，證明了汪教授在譯詩(shī)過程中如何運(yùn)用保持原詩(shī)的風(fēng)貌、再現(xiàn)原詩(shī)的意象、忠實(shí)的傳達(dá)原詩(shī)的內(nèi)容、關(guān)注讀者的感受四個(gè)翻譯技巧，使其翻譯作品做到“形神皆似”、“傳神達(dá)意”。
