【摘要】：從認(rèn)知文體學(xué)視角探討翻譯問題,尤其是文學(xué)翻譯,是翻譯界近年來新興的研究方向。20世紀(jì)70年代以后,西方譯學(xué)發(fā)生多次語言學(xué)和文化轉(zhuǎn)向,使得語言本體和語境備受關(guān)注。90年代后,西方翻譯界又呈現(xiàn)出了跨學(xué)科的研究趨勢及多元化的視角。在此背景下,認(rèn)知文體學(xué)順應(yīng)了翻譯學(xué)發(fā)展的潮流,并且為翻譯理論研究和翻譯實(shí)踐指導(dǎo)開辟了全新的路徑。認(rèn)知文體學(xué)是一門結(jié)合了語言學(xué)、文體學(xué)、認(rèn)知科學(xué)以及人體心理機(jī)制等知識的綜合性學(xué)派。它既繼承了傳統(tǒng)語言學(xué)和文體學(xué)的主要觀點(diǎn),又在心理因素的切入點(diǎn)上另辟蹊徑。它的核心主張是通過讀者的認(rèn)知能力及反應(yīng)來閱讀和闡釋文學(xué)作品。認(rèn)知文體學(xué)的目的不是為了對文學(xué)作品產(chǎn)生新的解釋,而是在認(rèn)知的角度上闡述某種解讀是如何產(chǎn)生的。將認(rèn)知文體學(xué)應(yīng)用于翻譯研究,就是關(guān)注翻譯中的認(rèn)知機(jī)制和思維方式,系統(tǒng)且清楚地說明源語文本與不同語言的譯者和讀者之間的關(guān)系。認(rèn)知文體學(xué)視角下的翻譯最重要的一個(gè)特征就是它的重點(diǎn)在于運(yùn)用認(rèn)知結(jié)構(gòu)分析源語文本中意義的構(gòu)建,以及譯語文本中意義的重建。另外,認(rèn)知文體學(xué)關(guān)注兩種文本背后作者、讀者、譯者以及評論者的思維,以及產(chǎn)生這些思維的社會(huì)、歷史、文化等外部環(huán)境和個(gè)人經(jīng)歷和智力等內(nèi)部因素。認(rèn)知文體學(xué)常用的研究途徑如前景化、概念隱喻、思維方式等在翻譯實(shí)踐中十分實(shí)用且有趣。不同文學(xué)形式各有獨(dú)特的翻譯特點(diǎn),而在認(rèn)知文體學(xué)視角下,對它們的分析效果顯得格外新穎。本篇論文將對塞林格的小說、艾默生的散文以及狄金森的詩歌的不同漢譯本進(jìn)行比較與分析從中可以發(fā)現(xiàn),認(rèn)知文體學(xué)對于文學(xué)作品的英譯漢有很強(qiáng)的適用性。從認(rèn)知文體學(xué)視角探討翻譯問題,對于諸如“等值”、“忠實(shí)”等翻譯界長期存在的一些具有爭議性的議題,也有著建設(shè)性的價(jià)值。除此之外,本篇論文還從該視角著重探討譯者的身份和任務(wù),以及譯文的獨(dú)立價(jià)值,旨在提高譯者的身份和譯文的地位。從認(rèn)知文體學(xué)的角度看待這些問題,進(jìn)一步豐富了翻譯界的理論研究成果。
