文學文體學視角下《瓦爾登湖》兩個中譯本的比較研究

  “文學文體學”特指以闡釋文學文本的主題意義和美學價值為目的的文體學派。文學文體學是連接語言學與文學批評的橋梁,它集中探討作者如何通過對語言的選擇來表達和加強主題意義和美學效果。它是文學批評中更為客觀、科學的理論途徑。文學文體學是文學研究從主觀走向客觀的橋梁,是評價翻譯質量和進行翻譯批評的重要工具。 將文學文體學應用于翻譯實踐,有利于譯者增強文體意識和領會文體風格,更好地把握語言形式所闡發(fā)的主題意義和美學功能,更注重形式和內容之間的交互作用,從而盡可能避免翻譯中的文體損差。同時,將其應用于翻譯批評可幫助翻譯批評者和研究者發(fā)現各種“假象等值”現象,使評論更為客觀。因此文學文體學對翻譯批評和翻譯研究具有重要意義。 Walden出版于1854年,是19世紀美國著名文學家梭羅的代表作,也是該作家哲學思想的集中體現,是美國文學史上的一部杰作。英國著名作家喬治·艾略特稱之為“美國文學中最無可爭議的作品,百年來長銷不衰的心靈圣經,超凡入圣的好書”。Walden最早的完整中譯本由徐遲先生1949年翻譯完成,成為了經久不衰的經典散文。在此后的60多年時間里,不斷有新的譯本推出,尤其是2003年之后,新譯本...
