【摘要】：本文依據(jù)美國(guó)民俗學(xué)家布魯范德對(duì)民俗的分類框架,以美籍華裔女作家包柏漪英文作品《春月》中出現(xiàn)的豐富的中國(guó)民國(guó)時(shí)代的中國(guó)民俗表達(dá)為語(yǔ)料,對(duì)比研究了兩個(gè)不同中國(guó)翻譯家的中譯本中的民俗表達(dá)的翻譯。論文研究的民俗根據(jù)民俗學(xué)家的分類,分為口頭、習(xí)慣、物質(zhì)民間傳統(tǒng)三類。依據(jù)此分類,以功能對(duì)等翻譯理論為指導(dǎo),對(duì)原文所選的典型例子進(jìn)行闡釋和翻譯,以目標(biāo)語(yǔ)讀者的反應(yīng)來(lái)評(píng)判小說(shuō)民俗翻譯的準(zhǔn)確度,即譯語(yǔ)所傳遞的信息是否與原語(yǔ)信息一致,對(duì)兩版中譯本中的民俗翻譯進(jìn)行分門別類的對(duì)比評(píng)判研究。論文通過(guò)質(zhì)性研究方法對(duì)哪一譯本能夠使譯語(yǔ)讀者在文化內(nèi)涵理解上與原語(yǔ)讀者保持一致進(jìn)行比較評(píng)估。最后,將作者的對(duì)比分析與質(zhì)性研究結(jié)果相結(jié)合,總結(jié)出研究中的不足和啟示,希望對(duì)今后類似文學(xué)作品中出現(xiàn)的民俗翻譯有一定的指導(dǎo)作用。
[Abstract]:Based on the classification framework of folklore by American folklore Bruce van der, this paper takes the abundant expressions of Chinese folklore in the era of the Republic of China, which appeared in Bette Bao Lord's English work, as the corpus. This paper makes a comparative study of the translation of folklore expressions in the Chinese versions of two different Chinese translators. According to the classification of folklore, the folklore studied in this paper is divided into oral, customary and material folk traditions. According to this classification and guided by functional equivalence translation theory, the typical examples of the original text are explained and translated, and the accuracy of folklore translation is judged by the response of the target readers. This paper makes a comparative study of the folklore translation in the two Chinese versions. In this paper, a qualitative study is conducted to evaluate which versions can make the target readers understand the cultural connotations in a consistent manner with the original readers. Finally, by combining the author's comparative analysis with the qualitative research results, the author summarizes the shortcomings and revelations in the study, hoping to provide some guidance to the folklore translation in similar literary works in the future.
