【摘要】：本文選取了約翰麥加恩的短篇小說集The Collected siories中的Creatures of the Earth《大地生靈》作為翻譯文本,進而對翻譯的整個過程及完成情況進行介紹與總結(jié)。本篇翻譯報告針對原文本中的長難句進行歸類與分析與探討。長難句句式復雜,句子中的成分也很多樣,所以翻譯長難句時譯者不僅需要有熟練掌握句子成分,理清句子邏輯關(guān)系的能力,還要有足夠的漢語語言組織能力。 以上要求在英譯漢的翻譯實踐中,對譯者來說無疑是一個巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。根據(jù)譯者統(tǒng)計,《大地生靈》文本中的長難句占總篇幅的50%,理解和翻譯都有一定難度,因此需要本報告選取《大地生靈》中典型性長難句,在分析其構(gòu)成的基礎(chǔ)上,探討長難句的翻譯方法和技巧。 報告分五部分。第一部分介紹作者與作品背景以及報告的整體結(jié)構(gòu),點明了翻譯過程中的難點——對原文本中句子的理解和翻譯報告中的重點——翻譯的過程。第二部分就譯前準備的過程進行了討論。第三部分著重探索了長難句的切分和理解,包括長難句的邏輯、語義和結(jié)構(gòu)。第四部分為結(jié)合譯文探索長難句翻譯步驟,根據(jù)不同情況選擇不同翻譯方法；第五部分為譯后反思,反思分為兩個方向：長難句的理解和長難句的翻譯。長難句的理解包括邏輯、語義和語境,長難句的翻譯包括翻譯步驟和翻譯技巧。
[Abstract]:In this paper, the author chooses Creatures of the Earth "Earth Life" in John McGarne's short story collection The Collected siories as the translated text, and then introduces and summarizes the whole process and completion of the translation. This translation report classifies and analyzes the long and difficult sentences in the original text. Long difficult sentences are complicated and the elements in sentences are very diverse. Therefore, translators should not only have the ability of mastering the sentence elements, but also have enough Chinese language organization ability to understand the logical relationship of the sentences when translating long difficult sentences. The above requirements are undoubtedly a great challenge to the translators in the practice of translation from English to Chinese. According to the translator's statistics, the long and difficult sentences in the text of "Earth Life" account for 50% of the total length, and it is difficult to understand and translate them. Therefore, it is necessary to select the typical long and difficult sentences in "Earth Life" in this report and analyze their composition. This paper discusses the translation methods and techniques of long difficult sentences. The report is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the author and the background of the work as well as the overall structure of the report, and points out the difficulties in the process of translation-the understanding of the sentences in the original text and the key points in the translation report-the process of translation. The second part discusses the process of pre-translation preparation. The third part focuses on the segmentation and understanding of long difficult sentences, including the logic, semantics and structure of long difficult sentences. The fourth part is to explore the translation steps of long difficult sentences according to different situations and to choose different translation methods. The fifth part is the reflection after translation, which is divided into two directions: the understanding of long difficult sentences and the translation of long difficult sentences. The understanding of long difficult sentences includes logic, semantics and context. The translation of long difficult sentences includes translation steps and translation skills.
