【摘要】：在很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間里隱喻都被看作是一種語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象,這導(dǎo)致隱喻的翻譯一般是以修辭為方向的。但認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)從認(rèn)知的角度給了隱喻一個(gè)新的定義：它不僅是一種修辭方式,更是一種認(rèn)知方式。它是人類(lèi)用某一領(lǐng)域的經(jīng)驗(yàn)來(lái)說(shuō)明或理解另一類(lèi)領(lǐng)域的經(jīng)驗(yàn)的一種認(rèn)知行為。本文旨在通過(guò)從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的角度在概念隱喻框架中對(duì)于《哈利波特》系列小說(shuō)中專(zhuān)有名詞的隱喻翻譯進(jìn)行細(xì)致的分析,利用隱喻巨鏈理論對(duì)小說(shuō)中的專(zhuān)有名詞進(jìn)行分類(lèi)并分析,探索文化差異較大的詞語(yǔ)在英漢翻譯中的思維模式,一定程度上揭示譯者的思維轉(zhuǎn)換過(guò)程,從而為以后解決類(lèi)似的翻譯問(wèn)題提供指導(dǎo)作用及新的思維視角。 本文的分析,有助于翻譯帶有隱喻的新詞,對(duì)于英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)、研究和翻譯都具有一定的意義。
[Abstract]:Metaphor has been regarded as a linguistic phenomenon for a long time, which leads to rhetorical translation. But cognitive linguistics gives a new definition of metaphor from the perspective of cognition: it is not only a rhetorical but also a cognitive way. It is a cognitive behavior in which human beings use experience in one field to explain or understand experience in another. This paper aims to make a detailed analysis of the metaphorical translation of proper nouns from the perspective of cognitive linguistics in the conceptual metaphor framework of the Harry Potter series. The metaphorical giant chain theory is used to classify and analyze the proper nouns in the novel, to explore the thinking patterns of words with great cultural differences in English-Chinese translation, and to reveal to a certain extent the process of the translator's thinking conversion. It provides guidance and new perspective for solving similar translation problems in the future. The analysis of this paper is helpful to the translation of metaphorical neologisms and has certain significance for English teaching, research and translation.
