【摘要】：本文為一篇英譯中筆譯任務(wù)翻譯報(bào)告，所描述的筆譯任務(wù)選自美國(guó)當(dāng)代知名作家理查德·鮑威爾斯（Richard Powers）的小說《舞會(huì)路上的三個(gè)農(nóng)民》的前三章。 筆者在一個(gè)英文網(wǎng)站上發(fā)現(xiàn)這部小說。該小說一共有二十七章，筆者選了前三章作為翻譯任務(wù)，共約一萬一千字。小說第一章介紹了作者在底特律的所見所聞，第二章描述了三個(gè)主人翁的生活背景以及引出了關(guān)于照片的話題，第三章主要講述了遐邇聞名的攝影師桑德的生平。 筆者選該小說作為翻譯任務(wù)主要基于以下原因：第一，筆者本人對(duì)文學(xué)很感興趣，尤其是美國(guó)文學(xué)；第二，該小說作為信息小說的代表，涵蓋了從藝術(shù)到科學(xué)的不同領(lǐng)域，翻譯該小說可以豐富人們的知識(shí)；第三，理查德·鮑威爾斯在美國(guó)很受歡迎，他的許多作品一經(jīng)出版就成為暢銷書。因此，如果筆者翻譯的這部小說能出版，想必也有賣得很好；最后，，該小說現(xiàn)無漢語譯本，這次翻譯實(shí)踐是一次很好的嘗試。 本篇論文分為五個(gè)部分：英漢對(duì)譯、翻譯任務(wù)描述、翻譯過程、譯例分析以及實(shí)踐總結(jié)。第一部分主要是有關(guān)小說前三章的翻譯。第二部分介紹了翻譯任務(wù)以及作者的情況。第三部分是關(guān)于整個(gè)翻譯過程，詳細(xì)描述了譯前準(zhǔn)備、譯后校隊(duì)以及翻譯難點(diǎn)三方面內(nèi)容。第四部分筆者結(jié)合翻譯實(shí)例分析了尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論在文中的應(yīng)用。在最后一部分，筆者總結(jié)了本次翻譯實(shí)踐的一點(diǎn)體會(huì)。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation report of translation tasks in English and Chinese. The translation tasks described are selected from the first three chapters of Richard Bowell (Richard Powers) 's novel "three Farmers on the way to the Ball". The writer found the novel on an English website. The author chooses the first three chapters as the translation task, about 11000 words. The first chapter introduces the author's experiences in Detroit, the second chapter describes the life background of the three main characters and leads to the topic of photos. The third chapter mainly tells the life of famous photographer Sand. The author chooses the novel as the translation task for the following reasons: first, the author is very interested in literature, especially American literature; second, as the representative of the information novel, the novel covers different fields from art to science. The translation of the novel can enrich people's knowledge; third, Richard Bowers is very popular in the United States, and many of his works have become bestsellers since they were published. Therefore, if the novel translated by the author can be published, it must also sell well. Finally, there is no Chinese translation of the novel, and this translation practice is a good attempt. This thesis is divided into five parts: English-Chinese translation, translation task description, translation process, case analysis and practice summary. The first part is mainly about the translation of the first three chapters of the novel. The second part introduces the translation task and the author's situation. The third part deals with the whole process of translation, including pretranslation preparation, post-translation school team and translation difficulties. The fourth part analyzes the application of Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory to translation examples. In the last part, the author summarizes the experience of translation practice.
