【摘要】：正關(guān)于翻譯,本雅明在《譯者的使命》(Die Aufgabe desübersetzers)中曾經(jīng)有過(guò)一個(gè)精妙的比喻,在原作中,內(nèi)容與形式就像果肉與果皮一樣緊密貼合、渾然天成,而在譯作中,包裹著內(nèi)容的形式就像一件遍布褶皺的黃袍,擁有獨(dú)一無(wú)二的紋理。這衣服上的褶皺正是譯者在勞作過(guò)程中所留下的心血。本雅明使用這個(gè)比喻并非為了貶低譯文,恰恰是為了顛覆我們對(duì)于翻譯的傳統(tǒng)觀念。尤其在漢語(yǔ)世界,"信、達(dá)、雅"一直左右著翻譯思想的主流,

The folds on this dress are the work of the translator. Benjamin's use of this metaphor is not to detract from the translation, but to upend our traditional conception of translation.
