【摘要】:筆者本次的翻譯任務(wù)是加拿大華裔英語(yǔ)作家林浩聰?shù)摹斗叛c神奇治愈》的第一、二章,該作品是一部短篇小說(shuō)集,共有十二篇故事,既相互聯(lián)系又獨(dú)立成篇,講述了四位年輕人求學(xué)、行醫(yī)的經(jīng)歷。這部小說(shuō)獲得了2006年加拿大獎(jiǎng)金數(shù)額最高的文學(xué)大獎(jiǎng)——吉勒獎(jiǎng),林浩聰也因此成為了第一位獲此殊榮的加拿大華裔英語(yǔ)作家。小說(shuō)的前兩章主要描寫了四位主人公——明、菲茨杰拉德、斯里和陳的校園生活及醫(yī)學(xué)院生活,在整本書中占有重要意義。 這部小說(shuō)中有不少成分復(fù)雜的長(zhǎng)難句,同時(shí)也有很多精簡(jiǎn)的短句及大量的人物對(duì)話。在翻譯的過(guò)程中,譯者在目的論的指導(dǎo)下,通過(guò)增譯、分譯、調(diào)整語(yǔ)序等方法,對(duì)這些長(zhǎng)句、短句及不同人物語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格上的翻譯進(jìn)行了調(diào)整,以實(shí)現(xiàn)譯文的忠實(shí)、連貫。除此之外,作者還運(yùn)用了歸化法、語(yǔ)義變通及詞義引申等方法,使譯文更符合漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)習(xí)慣。 通過(guò)這次翻譯任務(wù),筆者深感到了文學(xué)翻譯的不易,也認(rèn)識(shí)到了自身的不足和存在的問(wèn)題。翻譯是一種再創(chuàng)造,要想得出好的譯作,不僅要做到透徹地理解原文,還要有寬廣的知識(shí)面,并且對(duì)漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)運(yùn)用自如。這就要求譯者平時(shí)要注重培養(yǎng)文學(xué)素養(yǎng),豐富自己的知識(shí),積累生活閱歷,加強(qiáng)對(duì)漢英語(yǔ)言文字的駕馭能力。
[Abstract]:The author's translation task is the first, second chapter of the Canadian Chinese English writer Lin Haocong's "blood letting and miraculous cure >". The work is a collection of short stories, with twelve stories connected and independent, telling four young people to study and practice. The novel won the highest amount of Canadian bonuses in 2006. In the first two chapters of the novel, the first two chapters of the novel mainly describe the four protagonists - Ming, Fitzgerald, sley and Chen's campus life and medical school life, which are important in the whole book.
In the course of translation, the translator adjusts the translation of these long sentences, short sentences and different characters in the language style under the guidance of Skopos Theory to realize the translation. In addition, the author also uses domestication, semantic adaptation and extension of meaning to make the translation more consistent with Chinese expression.
Through this translation task, the author is deeply aware of the difficulty of literary translation, and also recognizes its own shortcomings and existing problems. Translation is a kind of re creation and a good translation, not only to understand the original text thoroughly, but also to have broad knowledge and express the expression of the Chinese language. We should cultivate our literary accomplishments, enrich our knowledge, accumulate life experiences and enhance our ability to control Chinese and English languages.
