【摘要】：本文為一篇翻譯報(bào)告，其翻譯文本選自一本暢銷書《業(yè)余總統(tǒng)》。該書由《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》前主編愛德華·克萊恩所作，它講述了奧巴馬這位被稱為業(yè)余總統(tǒng)的故事。該書是愛德華根據(jù)其轉(zhuǎn)錄自大量采訪的筆記編寫而成，因而他把該書稱作是出自記者的書。該書為人們了解奧巴馬的表現(xiàn)及美國(guó)的政治打開了一扇窗。因而值得翻譯到國(guó)內(nèi)。 至于譯文，它的最終受眾是中國(guó)讀者。因此，譯文應(yīng)該是以讀者為導(dǎo)向的。而就該書的語言表達(dá)風(fēng)格來說，其中包含了眾多的口語表達(dá)，不少固定表達(dá)及大量的復(fù)合句。這些形式的表達(dá)可以暗示情感或態(tài)度，也可以傳遞信息。但它們也成為譯者準(zhǔn)確而流暢地再現(xiàn)原文信息的障礙。在進(jìn)行了譯前準(zhǔn)備、對(duì)原文信息和語境分析的基礎(chǔ)上，本書譯者通過增加注釋、傳遞含意及在句法和語篇層面重組原文信息等方法，盡力消除翻譯和閱讀障礙從而實(shí)現(xiàn)譯文的可讀性。 翻譯是一項(xiàng)復(fù)雜的工作。譯者在其導(dǎo)師和同學(xué)的幫助下，通過案例研究闡述了其采用上述翻譯方法努力使譯文可讀的過程。 本報(bào)告包含任務(wù)描述、過程描述、案例研究和總結(jié)等四部分。筆者期望該報(bào)告能使其他譯者也注重譯文，特別是類似文本的譯文的可讀性。
[Abstract]:This is a translation report, the translated text of which is selected from a best-selling book, the Amateur President.The book, by Edward Klein, a former editor of the New York Times, tells the story of Obama, known as the amateur president.The book was written by Edward, based on transcribed notes from numerous interviews, and he called it a journalist's book.The book opens a window into Obama's performance and American politics.Therefore, it is worth translating to China.As for the translation, its ultimate audience is Chinese readers.Therefore, the translation should be reader-oriented.As far as the language style of the book is concerned, it contains many spoken expressions, many fixed expressions and a large number of compound sentences.These forms of expression can imply feelings or attitudes, or they can convey information.But they also become obstacles for translators to reproduce the original information accurately and smoothly.On the basis of pre-translation preparation and analysis of the original information and context, the translator of the book adopts the methods of adding annotations, transmitting meanings and reorganizing the original information at the syntactic and textual levels.Try to eliminate translation and reading barriers to achieve the readability of the translation.Translation is a complex task.With the help of his tutor and his classmates, the translator illustrates the process of making the translation readable by using the above translation method through a case study.This report includes four parts: mission description, process description, case study and summary.The author hopes that the report can also make other translators pay attention to the readability of the translations, especially those of similar texts.
