英語(yǔ)兒童文學(xué)的漢譯策略

【摘要】: 兒童文學(xué)在兒童成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程中起十分重要的作用,它為兒童提供了一個(gè)美妙的精神世界,使他們?cè)谙硎芸鞓?lè)的同時(shí)獲得知識(shí)。翻譯活動(dòng)不僅實(shí)現(xiàn)了兒童文學(xué)在世界范圍內(nèi)的傳播和交流,更為兒童文學(xué)創(chuàng)作和理論發(fā)展提供了充足的材料。 然而作為文學(xué)翻譯的一個(gè)分支,兒童文學(xué)翻譯遠(yuǎn)未受到應(yīng)有的重視。我國(guó)的兒童文學(xué)翻譯在理論研究和實(shí)踐兩方面的發(fā)展極不平衡:大量?jī)和膶W(xué)的譯作涌入國(guó)門(mén),卻因?yàn)槌扇嘶Z(yǔ)言或改寫(xiě)等原因而造成譯作總體質(zhì)量不高;理論方面更是落后,目前就兒童文學(xué)的翻譯研究尚未系統(tǒng)展開(kāi),至今還沒(méi)有公開(kāi)出版的關(guān)于兒童文學(xué)翻譯研究的書(shū)籍。即便有關(guān)于兒童文學(xué)翻譯的論述,也大多是基于經(jīng)驗(yàn)基礎(chǔ)上的體會(huì)或以某個(gè)理論為基礎(chǔ)的譯作評(píng)論,,對(duì)翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)性不強(qiáng)。 譯作總體質(zhì)量不高,理論研究遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)滯后的現(xiàn)狀不容忽視,兒童文學(xué)翻譯的深入研究迫在眉睫。本文擬文本為依據(jù),重視兒童讀者,通過(guò)對(duì)文本實(shí)例和兒童自身特點(diǎn)的分析,探討有助于兒童文學(xué)翻譯實(shí)踐的策略,以期引起更多翻譯研究者的關(guān)注和重視,從而促進(jìn)兒童文學(xué)翻譯的發(fā)展。 回顧以往研究概況之后,文章論述了兒童文學(xué)的基本知識(shí),包括其定義、分類(lèi)、語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)、優(yōu)秀作品的特點(diǎn)等,旨在對(duì)譯者挑選優(yōu)秀原作有所幫助。既而分析了兒童在每個(gè)階段的心理特點(diǎn)和語(yǔ)言特色,使譯者明確,應(yīng)根據(jù)譯本所適合的讀者特點(diǎn)選擇恰當(dāng)?shù)谋磉_(dá)方式。 針對(duì)兒童文學(xué)翻譯中普遍存在的改寫(xiě)縮寫(xiě)現(xiàn)象,筆者提出兒童文學(xué)作品應(yīng)該全譯,以保持原作內(nèi)容的完整性和準(zhǔn)確性。而對(duì)于譯作中的成人化語(yǔ)言,筆者認(rèn)為建立讀者常用詞匯庫(kù)是很有效的策略。它可以指導(dǎo)譯者的用詞靠近讀者的語(yǔ)言層次,從而避免用詞過(guò)于艱澀難懂。 在翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者應(yīng)以原文文本為根本依據(jù)和出發(fā)點(diǎn),這是所有原則和策略中最重要的一條,是由譯者的根本任務(wù)決定的,即確定文本的意義并以適當(dāng)?shù)男问奖磉_(dá)出來(lái)。翻譯方法主張以意譯為主,使譯作的語(yǔ)言既規(guī)范又符合兒童特點(diǎn),即準(zhǔn)確、簡(jiǎn)潔、生動(dòng)、悅耳。具體策略:根據(jù)上下文確定詞、句的意思來(lái)保證準(zhǔn)確;對(duì)于過(guò)長(zhǎng)過(guò)難的句子,建議理清層次關(guān)系,用短句和連接結(jié)構(gòu)處理,以實(shí)現(xiàn)簡(jiǎn)潔;通過(guò)排比、雙關(guān)等修辭手段使語(yǔ)言生動(dòng);利用節(jié)奏、押韻、擬聲來(lái)產(chǎn)生悅 耳效果。文化方面,主張采用異化為主、歸化為輔的策略,使讀者能在閱讀過(guò) 程中感受到異國(guó)的文化和環(huán)境,同時(shí)又實(shí)現(xiàn)翻譯的最終目的,促進(jìn)跨文化交流和 傳播。
[Abstract]:Children's literature plays a very important role in the process of children's development. It provides a wonderful spiritual world for children and enables them to acquire knowledge while enjoying happiness.Translation activities not only achieve the spread and exchange of children's literature in the world, but also provide sufficient materials for the creation and theoretical development of children's literature.However, as a branch of literary translation, children's literary translation is far from receiving due attention.The development of children's literature translation in our country is very unbalanced in theory and practice: a large number of children's literature translations pour into our country, but because of the reasons of adult language or rewriting, the overall quality of translation is not high, and the theory is even more backward.At present, the translation studies on children's literature have not been carried out systematically, and no books on children's literature translation have been published.Even though there are some expositions on children's literature translation, they are mostly based on experience or comments on translation based on a certain theory, which is not very instructive to translation practice.The quality of translation is not high, the theoretical research lags far behind, and it is urgent to study the translation of children's literature.Based on the text, this paper focuses on the children's readers. Through the analysis of the examples of the text and the children's own characteristics, this paper discusses the strategies that are helpful to the translation practice of children's literature, so as to attract more attention and attention from the translation researchers.So as to promote the development of children's literature translation.After reviewing the previous studies, this paper discusses the basic knowledge of children's literature, including its definition, classification, language characteristics and the characteristics of excellent works, in order to help the translator to select the best original works.Therefore, the psychological and linguistic characteristics of children at each stage are analyzed to make it clear that appropriate expressions should be chosen according to the reader's characteristics of the translation.Aiming at the phenomenon of rewriting abbreviations in children's literature translation, the author puts forward that children's literary works should be fully translated in order to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the original works.For the adult language, the author thinks that it is an effective strategy to establish the common vocabulary database of readers.It can guide the translator to use words close to the language level of the reader, thus avoiding too difficult to understand.In the process of translation, the translator should take the original text as the basic basis and starting point. This is the most important of all principles and strategies, which is determined by the translator's basic task, that is, to determine the meaning of the text and express it in an appropriate form.The translation method advocates that the translation should be based on free translation so that the language can be standardized and accord with the characteristics of children, that is, accurate, concise, vivid and pleasing to the ear.Specific strategies: to determine the meaning of words and sentences according to the context to ensure accuracy; for those sentences that are too long and difficult, it is recommended to clear up the hierarchical relationship and use short sentences and connective structures to achieve simplicity.A rhetorical device, such as a pun, that makes language lively; uses rhythm, rhyme, and onomatopoeia to produce pleasure.Ear effectIn the cultural aspect, we advocate the strategy of using alienation as the priority, and domestication as the auxiliary, so that readers can read in the past.While feeling the exotic culture and environment in the process, the ultimate goal of translation is to promote cross-cultural exchange and communication.Dissemination.
