【摘要】:散文是一種自由的文體,在各種文體中它的邊界是最模糊的。英語(yǔ)中的散文“prose”是一個(gè)很寬泛的概念,對(duì)它有著廣義和狹義兩種理解。廣義的“prose”是指與詩(shī)歌相對(duì)立的那種文體。狹義的“prose”是指詩(shī)歌、小說(shuō)、戲劇以外的所有具有文學(xué)性的散行文章,相當(dāng)于中國(guó)文學(xué)中的散文、隨筆或小品文。本文研究的散文特指文藝性散文,抒情、記事和議論渾然雜糅,敘事和議論也不是干巴巴的事理排列,而必須貫之以抒情,是一種取材廣泛、筆法靈活、篇幅短小、情文并茂的文學(xué)樣式。這類散文風(fēng)格跌宕多姿,語(yǔ)言優(yōu)美生動(dòng),藝術(shù)性極高。 在近一百多年的中西文化交流中,我國(guó)翻譯界重視的文學(xué)品種主要是詩(shī)歌和小說(shuō)。相比之下,英語(yǔ)散文翻譯的研究卻比較滯后。事實(shí)上,在我國(guó),散文翻譯的數(shù)量很多,從事英語(yǔ)散文翻譯工作的也不乏其人。遺憾的是,雖然曾有學(xué)者做過(guò)散文翻譯的研究,但真正從散文這一獨(dú)特文學(xué)體裁的角度,有條理、有系統(tǒng)地來(lái)研究散文翻譯的論著寥寥可數(shù)。在這篇論文中,作者以奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論作指導(dǎo),試圖從風(fēng)格和審美兩個(gè)角度研究英語(yǔ)散文的翻譯。 全文共三章。 第一章介紹英語(yǔ)散文的定義、種類及其發(fā)展史。 第二章概括了翻譯的性質(zhì)、奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論、以及散文翻譯的本質(zhì)。 第三章主要是從風(fēng)格和審美角度對(duì)英語(yǔ)散文的漢譯進(jìn)行分析。一方面,不能把散文當(dāng)作說(shuō)明文和敘事文來(lái)翻譯,要在譯文中體現(xiàn)散文這一獨(dú)特文學(xué)體裁的風(fēng)格;另一方面,散文翻譯要盡可能在最大程度上保留作家獨(dú)特的語(yǔ)言藝術(shù)風(fēng)格。作者把英語(yǔ)散文的風(fēng)格大致分為平實(shí)和藻麗、簡(jiǎn)潔和繁豐、反語(yǔ)和幽默六種,并依次舉例分析每種風(fēng)格如何在譯文中再現(xiàn)。 第四章主要是從審美角度對(duì)英語(yǔ)散文的漢譯進(jìn)行分析,主要就語(yǔ)言美和意境美進(jìn)行研究。語(yǔ)言美從語(yǔ)音、詞匯和句式三個(gè)方面分析審美傳遞。意境美,主要指譯者要從作品整體上把握散文的意境,強(qiáng)調(diào)意境對(duì)等必須優(yōu)先于形式對(duì)等,以及譯者的審美能力。 最后概括全文,總結(jié)奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論在英語(yǔ)散文翻譯中的指導(dǎo)性作用。
[Abstract]:Prose is a free style, and its boundaries are the blur of all styles. Prose "prose" in English is a very broad concept. "prose" in the broad sense refers to the style opposite to the poem, and the "prose" in the narrow sense refers to all literary articles with the exception of poetry, fiction and drama, which are equivalent to prose in Chinese literature. The prose studied in this paper refers specifically to literary prose, lyric, chronicling and argumentative mixture, narrative and argumentation is not a dry arrangement, but must be followed by lyric, is a wide range of materials, flexible writing, Short, sentimental and literary style. This style of prose fluctuates, beautiful and vivid, highly artistic. In the past 100 years of cultural exchanges between China and the West, poetry and fiction have been the major literary varieties in Chinese translation circles. In contrast, the study of English prose translation has lagged behind. In fact, in China, the number of prose translation is very large. Unfortunately, although some scholars have done research on prose translation, they are truly organized from the perspective of the unique literary genre of prose. In this paper, the author, guided by Nida's functional equivalence theory, attempts to study the translation of English prose from the perspective of style and aesthetics. The full text consists of three chapters. Chapter one introduces the definition, types and history of English prose. Chapter two summarizes the nature of translation, Nida's functional equivalence theory and the essence of prose translation. The third chapter mainly analyzes the Chinese translation of English prose from the angle of style and aesthetics. On the one hand, prose can not be translated as narrative text and narrative text, but it should reflect the unique literary style of prose in the translation; on the other hand, it can not be translated as narrative text or narrative text. Prose translation should retain the writer's unique style of language art to the maximum extent possible. The author divides the style of English prose into six categories: plain and elegant, concise and complicated, irony and humor. Examples are given to illustrate how each style is reproduced in the translation. Chapter 4th mainly analyzes the translation of English prose from the aesthetic point of view, mainly on the beauty of language and artistic conception. The beauty of language analyzes aesthetic transmission from three aspects: pronunciation, vocabulary and sentence structure. It mainly refers to the translator should grasp the artistic conception of prose from the whole works, emphasize that the equivalence of artistic conception must take precedence over formal equivalence, and the translator's aesthetic ability. Finally, the thesis summarizes the guiding role of Nida's functional equivalence theory in the translation of English prose.
