二十世紀(jì)三十年代,面對西方修辭學(xué)的沒落,瑞恰茲承擔(dān)起振興修辭這門“衰朽”學(xué)科的重任,對“新修辭”的產(chǎn)生和發(fā)展產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響。目前,國內(nèi)主要關(guān)注他在文學(xué)批評、語義學(xué)、美學(xué)以及基礎(chǔ)英語教學(xué)等方面的貢獻(xiàn),對其修辭學(xué)思想的研究多散見于零碎的評論中,尚未形成較為系統(tǒng)、深入的研究體系。而國外對其修辭學(xué)思想的研究已經(jīng)取得一些成就。因此,對其修辭學(xué)思想研究尚有較大空間。在仔細(xì)研讀瑞恰茲修辭學(xué)思想相關(guān)著作的基礎(chǔ)上梳理其修辭學(xué)思想的內(nèi)涵,并探討其修辭學(xué)思想的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。論文首先介紹了國內(nèi)外有關(guān)瑞恰茲修辭學(xué)思想的研究現(xiàn)狀以及該研究的重要意義與價值。其次,探討了影響瑞恰茲修辭學(xué)思想的主要因素。最后,主要從修辭哲學(xué)、詩學(xué)修辭以及交際修辭三個方面梳理了其修辭學(xué)思想的內(nèi)涵與現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。論文發(fā)現(xiàn),瑞恰茲修辭學(xué)思想主要受到三個方面的影響。第一,瑞恰茲學(xué)術(shù)生涯前期受到實(shí)證主義的熏陶,中后期受到浪漫主義的影響,并致力于尋求二者之間的平衡。第二,他所倡導(dǎo)的新修辭,在一定程度上是對以亞里士多德為主要代表的西方古典修辭學(xué)的批判與創(chuàng)新。此外,柯勒律治的浪漫主義思想使瑞恰茲開始關(guān)注以詩歌為代表的情感語言的修辭價值。第三,瑞恰茲的修辭學(xué)...
