[Abstract]:Whether in the West or in China, the early days of the orchestra mostly existed and developed in the form of military bands. Most of the works played were march and dance music. The music was short in length, smooth in melody, quick in rhythm, and concise in harmony. The main role is to drum up military power and ceremonial celebration. Although many music masters have created some of these works, they are rarely known.
