Study of vesicle spontaneously-formed from DSB/AOT and PTA/SDS as drug delivery

【摘要】：正Atoxic vesicles are formed from the complex system of zwitterionics surfactant DSB and anionic surfactant AOT, cation surfactant PTA and anionic surfactant SDS at proper proportions.The formation, particle size and ploydispersity of the vesicles are demonstrated and determined by using both negative - staining TEM and dynamic light scattering. Using the vesicles as the delivery of daphnetin, we carry out the effect of the foimation and temperatures on entrapment efficiency. Results show that entrapment efficiency of the vesicles reaches the max value of 65.2 % and the max diameter of 161.9nm when the total concentration of surfactants are 1.5×10-2mol/L, DSB/AOT=5:5 (mol/mol) . In PTA/SDS system that entrapment efficiency of the vesicles reached a max of 28.2 % and the diameter reaches a max of 86nm when the total concentration of surfactants are 5.0×10-3mol/L, PTA/SDS = 3:7 (mol/mol) . The study has been showed that these spontaneously - formed vesicles are a well drug delivery. A theoretical exploration is also presented in this paper for the phenomena and results of the experiment.
