[Abstract]:The scholars in China are no stranger to Bok's "Noble and Beauty", but the progress of his aesthetic research is still not enough, and in most cases it is confined to his exposition of sublimity. The fact is that an important aspect of the formation of Burke's aesthetic thought is based on the criticism of the medieval aesthetic tradition, especially in the first half of the third volume of the book on beauty. Proportionality, appropriateness, perfection are the core concepts of medieval aesthetics, and as a legacy, they were passed on to Burke's time. Starting from Locke's empiricism philosophy, Booker criticizes the quality of the traditional beauty object on the object side and the cognitive ability that is traditionally believed to be necessary to understand the beauty on the subject side. Thus, the aesthetics of happiness based on the five senses of the body is established. This aesthetics is closely related to politics and the general public, implying the character of modernity. Aesthetica, or "logic of taste", as Burke put it, was proposed in the eighteenth century, perhaps not just for the sake of the integrity of the scientific system, as Baum Gadden put it. And there are hidden historical and political factors.
