近年來(lái),語(yǔ)言景觀成為社會(huì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)和應(yīng)用語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究的熱點(diǎn)話題。一些國(guó)外學(xué)者在語(yǔ)言景觀領(lǐng)域已經(jīng)取得了相當(dāng)豐碩的成果。在中國(guó),關(guān)于語(yǔ)言景觀的研究多集中在公示語(yǔ)上。隨著全球化的發(fā)展和中國(guó)對(duì)外開(kāi)放程度的提高,公示語(yǔ)作為城市面貌和國(guó)際形象的重要體現(xiàn),在對(duì)外交往中起著重要作用。因此,越來(lái)越多的學(xué)者和翻譯研究者開(kāi)始關(guān)注英漢公示語(yǔ)。然而,國(guó)內(nèi)的大部分研究只是集中于公示語(yǔ)翻譯本身,將公示語(yǔ)和城市形象建構(gòu)聯(lián)系起來(lái)的研究相對(duì)較少。基于此,本文從英漢公示語(yǔ)的視角出發(fā),探討語(yǔ)言景觀對(duì)城市形象建構(gòu)的影響,并嘗試提出有利于語(yǔ)言景觀和城市形象建構(gòu)的策略。本文首先采用文獻(xiàn)研究法,對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)外相關(guān)研究進(jìn)行梳理。其次利用田野調(diào)查法對(duì)北京、天津、上海的機(jī)場(chǎng)、高鐵站和一些旅游景點(diǎn)的英漢公示語(yǔ)做了實(shí)地調(diào)查,并且利用收集到的684條英漢公示語(yǔ)建立了數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)。最后通過(guò)歸納分析收集到的數(shù)據(jù),找出公示語(yǔ)翻譯中存在的錯(cuò)誤,并據(jù)此分析公示語(yǔ)對(duì)語(yǔ)言景觀的影響,進(jìn)而分析語(yǔ)言景觀對(duì)城市形象建構(gòu)的影響。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),公示語(yǔ)影響語(yǔ)言景觀的國(guó)際化程度和民族文化傳播。對(duì)于機(jī)場(chǎng)和高鐵站這樣國(guó)際化程度較高的場(chǎng)所,公示語(yǔ)的譯文與目標(biāo)語(yǔ)國(guó)家的表達(dá)不一致,會(huì)降低其國(guó)際服務(wù)水平,從...
