【摘要】：本篇翻譯實踐項目的原文選自比爾·布萊森(Bill Bryson)的作品《英國符號》(Icons of England)中的14個篇章。這部散文合集講述了英國不斷發(fā)展變革中形成的標志性特色,從景色,建筑,植物,人文景觀等方面展現(xiàn)了英國的文化,也體現(xiàn)出作者對這片土地的熱愛。本篇報告選取系統(tǒng)全面的卡塔琳娜·賴斯的文本類型論作為理論指導,即翻譯方法取決于文本類型,筆者基于原文文體特點,分析原文文本的類型,主要以表達型文本的翻譯要求從詞匯、句法,段落層面分析其在翻譯中的運用,強調(diào)信息傳遞的準確性和譯文的審美效果,以達到易于讀者理解的目的。具體的翻譯策略與方法包括增譯與減譯,直譯與意譯,拆分法,歸化等。通過此次翻譯實踐,筆者總結(jié)出應根據(jù)文本的風格和特色來選取適當?shù)姆g理論指導和翻譯策略。
[Abstract]:The original text of this translation practice project is from 14 chapters in Bill Bryson and Bill Bryson's "British symbols" / Icons of Englandon. This collection of essays tells of the iconic features of the continuous development and transformation of the United Kingdom, showing the British culture in terms of scenery, architecture, plants and cultural landscape, as well as the author's love for the land. In this report, the systematic and comprehensive text typology of Katarina Rice is chosen as the theoretical guidance, that is, the translation method depends on the text type, and the author analyzes the type of the original text based on the stylistic characteristics of the original text. This paper analyzes the application of expressive text in translation from lexical, syntactic and paragraph levels, emphasizing the accuracy of information transmission and the aesthetic effect of the translation, in order to achieve the purpose of readership understanding. Specific translation strategies and methods include addition and subtraction, literal translation and free translation, split method, domestication and so on. Through this translation practice, the author concludes that appropriate translation theory guidance and translation strategies should be selected according to the style and characteristics of the text.
