[Abstract]:The central point of this theory is to discuss whether the mood and character of the characters in the original works can be reproduced through the subtraction of the final auxiliary words in the translation of Chinese literary works. According to Nida's functional pair theory, the first task is to reproduce the meaning and information of the original text. Therefore, we should pay attention to the effect of the final auxiliary which has a great influence on the character and mood of the characters in the original text, and consider its translation strategies. According to the translation strategies of the translator's final auxiliary, the character and mood of the translation will be different. This will have a great impact on whether the original text can be reproduced. Therefore, the author thinks that the use and effect of the final auxiliary word in the study version is of great significance. Therefore, it is decided to compare the modal auxiliary of dialogue in Lu Yao's popular Chinese novel Life with the final auxiliary of dialogue in Anbenshi's translation, and analyze the effect of the final auxiliary. This paper focuses on the analysis of the addition of final auxiliary words in the translation without modal auxiliary words in the original text. In addition, this paper also discusses the effect of the final auxiliary when there are modal auxiliary in the original text but not translated into the final auxiliary in the target text, and the corresponding translation of the modal auxiliary and the final auxiliary. Then, from the perspective of functional equivalence theory, the effects of the final auxiliary and the translation of the final auxiliary have played a certain role in conveying the spirit of the original text and reproducing the original text. Furthermore, judging from the frequency of the use of the final auxiliary word in the translation, the final auxiliary word "Li" in the translation "Life" is used very frequently, which shows that Lu Yao's Life was published in the 1980s. It is also a story of China's reform and opening up period, so it is possible for the translator to use the final auxiliary word "Li" extensively to make the readers of the translated text feel the epoch embodied in the original work. Like this, the effect of the frequency of use of the final auxiliary will also affect the reproduction of the original text.
