【摘要】：隨著國際交流的日益頻繁以及電訊技術的快速發(fā)展，電話口譯在移民國家蓬勃發(fā)展，在中國等非移民國家也展現(xiàn)出巨大的市場潛力。然而，許多人懷疑由于缺失非語言信息，不可見性會降低電話口譯的質(zhì)量。因為缺乏該方面的研究文獻，學術界對此莫衷一是。另一方面，學術指導的缺位阻礙了電話口譯的進一步完善。考慮到這些情況，筆者在文中詳細地介紹了這一新興的口譯形式，希望為其引起更多的學術關注。 基于吉爾博士的認知負荷理論模型，筆者進行了關于電話口譯和現(xiàn)場口譯的對比實驗以及后續(xù)采訪，，以確定不可見性對口譯質(zhì)量的影響。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)非語言信息不一定有助于口譯，而不可見性不一定會降低電話口譯的質(zhì)量。實驗分析表明，不可見性對電話口譯具有多重影響——對電話口譯的準確度和完整性有積極影響，對譯員客觀中立的立場和語言流暢性影響甚微，對譯員的專業(yè)表現(xiàn)有負面影響。而且不可見性的影響因譯員而異。然而對于電話口譯員，技術制約因素是不可避免的；并且人們普遍不信任電話口譯。 于是在論文最后部分，筆者提出了改善電話口譯質(zhì)量的相關建議。措施包括改善電話口譯員的工作環(huán)境、譯員的篩選培訓以及市場培育。筆者還指出，發(fā)展電話口譯需要全社會的共同努力。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency of international communication and the rapid development of telecommunications technology, telephone interpretation is booming in immigrant countries, and also shows great market potential in non-immigrant countries such as China. However, many people suspect that invisibility will degrade the quality of telephone interpretation due to the absence of non-verbal information. Because of the lack of research literature in this area, the academic community does not agree on this. On the other hand, the absence of academic guidance hinders the further improvement of telephone interpretation. In view of these circumstances, the author introduces this new form of interpretation in detail, hoping to attract more academic attention. Based on the cognitive load theory model proposed by Dr. Gill, the author conducted comparative experiments and follow-up interviews on telephone and on-site interpretation to determine the effect of invisibility on interpretation quality. It is found that non-verbal information may not be helpful to interpretation, and invisibility may not degrade the quality of telephone interpretation. The experimental analysis shows that invisibility has multiple effects on telephone interpretation-it has a positive impact on the accuracy and integrity of telephone interpretation, and has little effect on the objective neutral position of the interpreter and the fluency of the language. It has a negative impact on the professional performance of interpreters. And the effect of invisibility varies from interpreter to interpreter. However, for telephone interpreters, technical constraints are inevitable, and there is a general distrust of telephone interpretation. In the last part of the thesis, the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the quality of telephone interpretation. Measures include improving the working environment of telephone interpreters, screening training for interpreters and market training. The author also points out that the development of telephone interpretation needs the joint efforts of the whole society.
