【摘要】：社論屬于新聞評(píng)論的一種，作為報(bào)紙的核心和靈魂，社論是代表編輯部或者報(bào)紙對(duì)國內(nèi)外重大事件或問題進(jìn)行及時(shí)解釋和評(píng)論，旨在表明報(bào)紙或媒體的態(tài)度和立場(chǎng)，從而起到引導(dǎo)公眾輿論，感染和說服觀眾的作用。作為一種新聞?wù)Z篇，社論更多是新聞學(xué)所研究的對(duì)象，直到20世紀(jì)90年代，國內(nèi)外許多學(xué)者才試圖從語言學(xué)角度對(duì)社論進(jìn)行研究。同時(shí)他們的研究多數(shù)是傾向于對(duì)社論文體特征或結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn)的闡釋，很少有人從評(píng)價(jià)理論的角度分析社論的語言特征，而英英社論的比較研究就更加少見。因此，本文嘗試從評(píng)價(jià)理論的分支之一—介入的角度對(duì)中美英語社論進(jìn)行比較分析。 為了對(duì)中美英語社論中的介入資源進(jìn)行比較分析，本研究分別從《中國日?qǐng)?bào)》和《華盛頓郵報(bào)》的官網(wǎng)上精心選取了70篇有關(guān)國際政治的社論（美英社論31篇總字?jǐn)?shù)為21098，中英社論39篇總字?jǐn)?shù)20754），以Martin和White的介入系統(tǒng)為理論框架，利用專業(yè)語言學(xué)文本標(biāo)注軟件(UAM Corpus Tool V2.8.12)進(jìn)行定量和定性分析。旨在總結(jié)各種介入資源分別在兩個(gè)語料庫中的分布狀況，對(duì)比分析其分布的異同，并嘗試對(duì)產(chǎn)生異同的原因給出合理的解釋。 本文通過細(xì)致的定量和定性研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，中美英語社論中介入資源的分布情況既有很多相同點(diǎn)，又存在一些差異。其中二者的共同點(diǎn)主要表現(xiàn)在：1.在收縮資源中中美英語社論都偏向于使用否認(rèn)資源；2.在否認(rèn)資源中，中美英語社論均傾向于反預(yù)期資源；3.宣稱資源中的宣布資源在中美英語社論中出現(xiàn)的頻率均比較大；4.在擴(kuò)展資源中，情態(tài)資源和承認(rèn)資源在中美英語社論中所占的比例都很大。由于兩國不同的文化價(jià)值觀，以及對(duì)國際事件不同的立場(chǎng)和態(tài)度，中美英語社論在介入資源的使用上也存在一些差異，主要表現(xiàn)在：1.中國英語社論偏向于使用對(duì)話收縮資源，而美國英語社論則傾向于使用對(duì)話擴(kuò)展資源；2.在擴(kuò)展資源中，承認(rèn)資源在使用頻率上存在顯著差異；3.在收縮系統(tǒng)中，雖然Endorse資源在所有介入資源中所占比例不高，但在使用頻率上任然存在差異。 本研究利用評(píng)價(jià)理論嘗試性地對(duì)中美英語社論的介入資源進(jìn)行了比較分析，以期對(duì)評(píng)價(jià)理論在社論語篇分析中的應(yīng)用做出貢獻(xiàn)，也希望對(duì)中美英語社論的比較分析提供新的研究視角。此外，本研究通過對(duì)社論語篇的對(duì)比分析希望能對(duì)二語教學(xué)，尤其是英語報(bào)刊閱讀有一定的指導(dǎo)意義。
[Abstract]:Editorials belong to a kind of news commentary. As the core and soul of a newspaper, editorials represent the editorial department or the newspaper to interpret and comment on important events or problems at home and abroad in a timely manner, in order to show the attitude and position of the newspaper or the media. As a kind of news discourse, editorials were more the object of journalism, until 1990s, Many scholars at home and abroad have tried to study editorials from the linguistic point of view. At the same time, most of their studies tend to explain the stylistic or structural characteristics of editorials, and few people analyze the linguistic characteristics of editorials from the perspective of evaluation theory. Therefore, this paper attempts to make a comparative analysis of English editorials in China and America from the perspective of intervention, one of the branches of evaluation theory. In order to make a comparative analysis of the intervention resources in English editorials between China and the United States, In this study, 70 editorials on international politics were carefully selected from the official websites of the China Daily and the Washington Post. (the total number of editorials in the United States and Britain is 21098, and the total number of Chinese and English editorials is 207544.The theoretical framework is based on the intervention system of Martin and White. The purpose of this paper is to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively the distribution of various kinds of interventional resources in the two corpora, and to compare and analyze the differences and similarities of the distribution of these resources by using the professional linguistic text tagging software (UAM Corpus Tool V2.8.12). And try to give a reasonable explanation to the reason of producing similarities and differences. Through careful quantitative and qualitative studies, this paper finds that there are many similarities in the distribution of interventional resources between Chinese and American English editorials. There are also some differences. The common points between the two are mainly manifested in: 1. In shrinking resources, Chinese and American English editorials tend to use denial resources. 2. In denial resources, Chinese and American English editorials tend to be counter-expected resources 3.Proclamation that the declared resources in the resources are more frequent in CEE editorials. 4. In the expansion of resources, Modality resources and recognition resources account for a large proportion of Chinese-American English editorials. Due to the different cultural values of the two countries, as well as their different positions and attitudes towards international events, There are also some differences in the use of intervention resources between Chinese and American English editorials, mainly in the following aspects: 1. China English editorials tend to use conversational contractile resources, while American English editorials tend to use conversational expansion resources. It is acknowledged that there are significant differences in the frequency of use of Endorse resources. 3. Although the proportion of Endorse resources in all involved resources is not high, there are still differences in the frequency of use. The present study attempts to make a comparative analysis of the intervention resources between Chinese and American English editorials by using the evaluation theory in order to contribute to the application of the evaluation theory in editorial discourse analysis. It also hopes to provide a new perspective for the comparative analysis of English editorials between China and the United States. In addition, through the comparative analysis of editorial texts, the present study hopes to provide some guidance to the teaching of second language, especially the reading of English newspapers and periodicals.
