【摘要】：本文以法國社會學(xué)家皮埃爾·布迪厄的社會學(xué)理論為框架,研究魯迅小說集《故事新編》楊憲益夫婦和藍(lán)詩玲兩個譯本中體現(xiàn)的譯者慣習(xí),以及影響慣習(xí)形成與發(fā)展的場域和資本等社會文化變量。本文旨在通過譯本對比研究,分析譯者翻譯策略,體現(xiàn)布迪厄社會學(xué)理論框架與翻譯理論研究進(jìn)行跨學(xué)科結(jié)合的可行性。 本文從微觀與宏觀兩個層面對《故事新編》兩譯者的慣習(xí)、場域和資本進(jìn)行研究。微觀層面是通過收集原文本中的文化專有項(xiàng),結(jié)合艾克希拉的文化專有項(xiàng)翻譯策略理論進(jìn)行分析。本文從姓名稱謂、地理名稱、神話人物、文學(xué)典故、歷史典故、度量衡和家庭生活七類文化專有項(xiàng)出發(fā),分析兩位譯者在各自翻譯中體現(xiàn)的策略以及慣習(xí)。兩位譯者在文化專有項(xiàng)翻譯中體現(xiàn)的主要傾向是貼近原文,而相較之下,楊譯本更加忠實(shí)于原文,藍(lán)譯本則比楊譯本更注重目的語文本讀者的接受度,因此相對更加流暢。 宏觀層面主要關(guān)注兩位譯者的翻譯場域和翻譯資本。研究資料來源于楊憲益自傳、筆者對藍(lán)詩玲的采訪以及其他發(fā)表在核心刊物上的相關(guān)訪談。譯者的時代、文化、家庭、教育背景被納入翻譯場域考量。此外,本文還分析了楊憲益的政治場域和藍(lán)詩玲的出版產(chǎn)業(yè)場域?qū)ζ浞g場域的影響。在翻譯資本的討論中,本文結(jié)合布迪厄提出的經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會、文化和象征資本分析了譯者的相應(yīng)資本。最終,本文結(jié)合翻譯場域和資本,總結(jié)了影響譯者慣習(xí)的四大社會文化變量,即文化教育背景、工作環(huán)境、社會關(guān)系和社會地位。 本研究的初衷受近年來翻譯研究與社會學(xué)跨學(xué)科交融趨勢的啟發(fā)。本文選取社會學(xué)范疇中布迪厄的社會實(shí)踐理論,以魯迅小說集《故事新編》為切入點(diǎn),結(jié)合社會學(xué)概念分析譯者的策略以及社會文化變量對譯者的影響。
