【摘要】：幽默,作為一種特殊的語言現(xiàn)象,在文學(xué)、影視、廣告和日常交際中隨處可見。幽默這一語言現(xiàn)象備受各個(gè)領(lǐng)域?qū)W者的關(guān)注,國內(nèi)外學(xué)者從心理學(xué)、哲學(xué)、社會學(xué)、修辭學(xué)和人類學(xué)等領(lǐng)域?qū)τ哪M(jìn)行了研究。20世紀(jì)80年代,國內(nèi)外學(xué)者開始從語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域?qū)τ哪M(jìn)行研究。作為幽默載體之一的情景喜劇為幽默的語用研究提供了豐富的語料�！镀飘a(chǎn)姐妹》因劇中無處不在的幽默而成為當(dāng)下流行的美國情景喜劇之一。這部情景喜劇講述了一個(gè)餐館女服務(wù)員和一位因父親破產(chǎn)而淪為服務(wù)員的富家千金賣紙杯蛋糕創(chuàng)業(yè)的故事。本文選取該劇中第二季和第三季中總共四十八集的臺詞為研究語料,對語料中受語用預(yù)設(shè)驅(qū)動而產(chǎn)生的言語幽默做了窮盡性的研究。已有的關(guān)于《破產(chǎn)姐妹》中言語幽默的研究是建立在言語行為理論的基礎(chǔ)上,特別是用合作原則、禮貌原則和關(guān)聯(lián)理論來解釋幽默較為常見。本文運(yùn)用預(yù)設(shè)理論從語用學(xué)角度分析《破產(chǎn)姐妹》中言語幽默的特點(diǎn)、生成機(jī)制及其達(dá)到的效果。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):預(yù)設(shè)觸發(fā)語可以引發(fā)預(yù)設(shè)從而產(chǎn)生幽默。詞匯預(yù)設(shè)觸發(fā)語表現(xiàn)為確定性描述語、事實(shí)動詞、含蓄動詞、狀態(tài)變化動詞、反復(fù)詞和判斷性動詞,而句法預(yù)設(shè)觸發(fā)語則表現(xiàn)為對比性結(jié)構(gòu)和表達(dá)、強(qiáng)調(diào)句型、時(shí)間狀語從句、非限制性定語從句、非事實(shí)條件句和疑問句�！镀飘a(chǎn)姐妹》中語用預(yù)設(shè)的特點(diǎn)表現(xiàn)為合適性、共知性、單一性和主觀性。本文對劇中四類幽默所占的比重和劇中預(yù)設(shè)觸發(fā)語的分布頻率也做了詳細(xì)的分析。就預(yù)設(shè)觸發(fā)語在論文數(shù)據(jù)分析中所占的比例而言,確定性描述語、事實(shí)動詞和對比性結(jié)構(gòu)和表達(dá)所占比重大,而狀態(tài)變化動詞、反復(fù)詞和判斷性動詞、非限制性定語從句及其他觸發(fā)語所占比重較小。劇中言語幽默的生成機(jī)制是受保存預(yù)設(shè)、取消預(yù)設(shè)、錯(cuò)誤預(yù)設(shè)和沖突預(yù)設(shè)驅(qū)動所產(chǎn)生的。其一,為了避免尷尬情形出現(xiàn),說話者經(jīng)常改變語言的表達(dá),但是新的語言表達(dá)仍保留之前話語中的預(yù)設(shè),從而產(chǎn)生幽默。其二,先前話語中的預(yù)設(shè)會被之后的話語所取消,突然話語的轉(zhuǎn)變出乎觀眾的意料,從而產(chǎn)生幽默。其三,說話者話語中的預(yù)設(shè)可能不會被聽話者感知,無意感知不到則產(chǎn)生錯(cuò)誤預(yù)設(shè),有意感知不到則產(chǎn)生沖突預(yù)設(shè),同時(shí)生成幽默。劇中言語幽默的使用效果極其突出,一方面使主要人物的性格得到了充分的體現(xiàn),比如Max的不屈不撓、隨性和開放,Caroline的有原則、得體和堅(jiān)毅;另一方面強(qiáng)化了該劇的主題,比如樂觀向上的生活態(tài)度和對夢想的執(zhí)著追求等;同時(shí)還反映了美國社會在政治、道德和人生觀方面的意識形態(tài)。本文不可避免地存在一些局限,但依然有一定的理論價(jià)值以及實(shí)踐意義。本文從語用預(yù)設(shè)角度對該劇中的言語幽默進(jìn)行分析,體現(xiàn)了該理論的強(qiáng)大解釋力。此外,對情景喜劇《破產(chǎn)姐妹》的幽默研究,不僅展示了語言藝術(shù)的精髓,而且能給未來喜劇創(chuàng)作帶來一些啟發(fā)。
