【摘要】：亞里士多德說:"人們?yōu)榱嘶钪?聚集于城市;為了活得更好,而居留于城市。"我們每天生活在城市當中,我們的感官、視覺、聽覺都因城市環(huán)境的改變而發(fā)生變化。我們視線所及的不僅是不同的地貌與人群,更多的是覆蓋在這片土地上的人類自己創(chuàng)造的大景觀。城市就是在此居住的所有人的共同家園。當代城市雕塑是將藝術(shù)置于立體的公共空間中創(chuàng)造表現(xiàn)出來的,杰出的城市雕塑在雕塑家塑造伊始,就被賦予了靈氣,寫實亦或?qū)懸?都如同噴薄的藝術(shù)之光,璀璨絢爛,將雕塑藝術(shù)的魅力展現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。當代很多城市都用公共藝術(shù)傳達著其獨特的藝術(shù)精神、民族氣派、文化底蘊。作為公共藝術(shù)的最普遍的形式之一雕塑在城市中的分布是極為廣泛的,公共空間視野中總是能夠?qū)ひ挼降袼艿纳碛?它們與各種景觀小品、公共設(shè)施、城市建筑融合為一體,形成具有藝術(shù)價值的公共藝術(shù)空間。城市雕塑是對環(huán)境的詮釋,也是對環(huán)境的延伸,它使原本沉悶而有限的空間,升華為有生機的、無限的、充盈的空間。南京是舊日積淀與今日輝煌、自然風光與現(xiàn)代都市的碰撞,城市形象的設(shè)計與建設(shè)則更需要多元化公共藝術(shù)設(shè)計的參與,而城市雕塑的營造便是其中不可或缺的一環(huán)。南京的城市雕塑愈趨呈現(xiàn)多樣性,公共藝術(shù)家已經(jīng)在藝術(shù)表現(xiàn)形式上做了多方位的嘗試、改革與創(chuàng)新。南京城市雕塑主要包括紀念性雕塑、主題性雕塑和裝飾性雕塑等三大類型,這幾個類型的城市雕塑都展示了南京的城市風采。南京具有代表性的街區(qū)長江路街道以及新街口核心地區(qū),這兩個街區(qū)的城市雕塑藝術(shù)是南京公共藝術(shù)的縮影,凸顯著南京的城市特質(zhì),具有時代性。南京的辟邪文化源遠流長,但是否繼續(xù)使用辟邪作為南京城市的象征,鎮(zhèn)守城門,是一個值得商榷的問題。城市雕塑未來的發(fā)展之路,應在傳承的基礎(chǔ)上同時進行創(chuàng)新,傳承之路與創(chuàng)新之路應合二為一。一方面,南京的六朝興亡交替,成就其坦然滄桑、大氣深沉、空疏曠達的文化特質(zhì)。南京對其歷史文化資源的保護從開始僅用凍結(jié)式博物館保存,發(fā)展到利用如今公共藝術(shù)對歷史文化風貌進行整體性的保護,同時重視公共歷史環(huán)境空間的活力和生命力,努力實現(xiàn)歷史空間的可持續(xù)發(fā)展。而南京城市雕塑也在南京城歷史文化氣息的熏陶下,練就其深邃而沉靜、溫潤而蒼勁、悠久而曠達的氣質(zhì),有著不可替代的獨特性。另一方面,未來南京城市雕塑若想現(xiàn)有基礎(chǔ)上取得創(chuàng)新,則需要尋求與媒體、與大眾進行更廣泛更多元化的互動,運用科技等手段使南京城市雕塑有更長遠的發(fā)展。隨著公共藝術(shù)和城市雕塑的發(fā)展,城市的布局規(guī)劃與建筑整體風格的設(shè)計必然將被納入于藝術(shù)體系中,所以城市雕塑也應以現(xiàn)代科學技術(shù)、社會生活為依托。技術(shù)支持藝術(shù),藝術(shù)展現(xiàn)技術(shù),兩者相輔相成,從而獲得廣泛的發(fā)展空間以及新興的發(fā)展模式。工業(yè)革命后固體材料為主的機械藝術(shù)是主流,20世紀后期,科技迅猛發(fā)展促生了多種材料拼接的后現(xiàn)代藝術(shù),而當下更加的發(fā)達科學技術(shù)為公共藝術(shù)媒介則提供了更多可能。水、光、電、聲音乃至味道等一些虛無縹緲的非固體材料可以通過數(shù)字手段得到精確的控制,這些都能在很大程度上開拓了城市雕塑材質(zhì)的種類,豐富當代城市雕塑的表現(xiàn)形式語言。南京城市雕塑雖有不同種類和風格,但其氣韻、意境相通,共同承載著南京的人文故事、民俗風情、未來志向,筆者相信南京城市雕塑將在傳承和創(chuàng)新的道路上,發(fā)揚其獨有的氣質(zhì)和意蘊,為南京城注入源源不斷的生機和活力,向南京乃至世界展示其獨一無二的迷人風采。
