【摘要】：中國電影導演張藝謀早期的電影創(chuàng)作多聚焦鄉(xiāng)村和基層生活,通過對底層民眾人物形象與生存狀態(tài)的展現,對地域民俗風情的創(chuàng)造性展示,以及對基層自然環(huán)境與人文環(huán)境的描摹,在營造濃郁鄉(xiāng)土氛圍的同時,也體現出他在電影創(chuàng)作中自覺的鄉(xiāng)土性追求。 張藝謀電影的鄉(xiāng)土性首先體現在其思想意蘊上。長老權力與血緣傳承是解讀其電影鄉(xiāng)土性意蘊的兩個重要角度。鄉(xiāng)土的長老權力影響著電影角色的生活境況與存在狀態(tài)。血緣傳承的本能,使張藝謀電影中的兩性和婚姻關系呈現出某種功利性,這種本能一旦受阻,就會引發(fā)電影角色的生育焦慮。這種焦慮不僅影響著角色的行動和思想,甚至會招致他們生活與命運的悲劇性。 張藝謀電影的鄉(xiāng)土性也體現在其對民俗元素的表現上。民俗元素具有民族性、地域性、基層性等鄉(xiāng)土性特質,也與鄉(xiāng)土生活聯系密切。在電影的信仰民俗、游藝民俗、人生儀禮等民俗元素中,既展現出鄉(xiāng)土情境下民俗元素的現實功能性,也蘊含著導演的情感寄托和藝術追求,還是電影展現鄉(xiāng)土之美、人性之美及抒發(fā)情感的重要藝術手段。 張藝謀電影的鄉(xiāng)土性還體現在其電影的影像建構上。很多作品聚焦基層社會,展現和構建了獨特的鄉(xiāng)土性時空影像,在電影對鄉(xiāng)土理想家園及現代化轉型的影像呈現中,蘊含著導演對鄉(xiāng)土的藝術態(tài)度和觀念。 隨著張藝謀電影創(chuàng)作的多元化探索,其電影鄉(xiāng)土性的樣貌也發(fā)生了轉變,這種轉變體現了導演藝術創(chuàng)作的娛樂化、消費化轉型,也反映出民族電影發(fā)展功利的現實性要求,也預示著中國電影未來發(fā)展的某種方向。
