1993年進入清華大學(xué)生物科學(xué)與技術(shù)系，1999年獲學(xué)士學(xué)位,1999年獲理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位。1999年8月赴美國康奈爾大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院生理、生物物理和分子醫(yī)學(xué)系，于2004年獲博士學(xué)位。同年獲美國耶魯大學(xué)的Endowed Postdoctoral Fellowship，從事博士后研究。2007年起獲聘為復(fù)旦大學(xué)副教授，碩導(dǎo)。2013年8月兼職復(fù)旦大學(xué)發(fā)育生物學(xué)研究所PI。2016年3月起任復(fù)旦大學(xué)附屬婦產(chǎn)科醫(yī)院生殖發(fā)育研究院副教授PI，2017年12月起任教授，PI。曾獲得上海市浦江人才計劃，復(fù)旦大學(xué)卓學(xué)人才計劃等獎項。近五年承擔(dān)的重要項目有國家自然基金委應(yīng)急項目1項，上海市科委重點項目1項；參與基金委重點項目1項，參與973計劃課題1項，863課題1項。

在在大腦皮層發(fā)育、神經(jīng)干細胞分化和出生缺陷分子遺傳機制等研究方向積累了較豐富的研究經(jīng)驗，，并取得了具有一定影響力的成果。實驗室的研究方向為研究胚胎發(fā)育異常導(dǎo)致的：1）大腦神經(jīng)干細胞發(fā)育及發(fā)育障礙相關(guān)疾��；2）神經(jīng)管畸形和先心病的遺傳分子和病理機制。
