【摘要】：順句驅(qū)動原則被認為是同傳中的黃金準則,當中的“切分”技巧又是同傳中最常被應用的技巧。本文運用丹尼爾·吉爾提出的認知負荷模型,研究順句驅(qū)動原則的三種最常用的操作手法,’即切分技巧、增補技巧和轉(zhuǎn)化技巧,來探索順句驅(qū)動原則的特點和優(yōu)點。本文通過研究三篇實戰(zhàn)同傳語料,包括英譯漢和漢譯英,來驗證順句驅(qū)動原則的相關發(fā)現(xiàn)。最后,本文得出結論：順句驅(qū)動原則被廣泛運用于英漢和漢英同傳中,這主要是由同傳的本質(zhì)要求和譯員的精力有限造成韻。在同聲傳譯中,譯員往往會綜合運用切分技巧、增補技巧和轉(zhuǎn)化技巧。實踐證明,順句驅(qū)動可以極大地提高譯文的質(zhì)量,即通過將原文的長句切分成意群,譯員可以縮短EVS,減輕短期記憶負擔,保證信息的準確和完整;通過增補技巧和轉(zhuǎn)換技巧,譯員可以將切割后破碎的句子連接在一起,形成流暢、連貫的譯文。本文還發(fā)現(xiàn),不同的語言模式對于順句驅(qū)動原則的應用也有影響。
