本翻譯實踐報告節(jié)選自保爾·沃德(Paul Ward)著寫的《可持續(xù)性的開創(chuàng):自然與命運(yùn)1500-1870年》(The Invention of Sustainability:Nature and Destiny C.1500-1870),該書集中討論了可持續(xù)發(fā)展這一重大問題,并提出了一系列關(guān)于政治經(jīng)濟(jì)、國家和環(huán)境的想法,對于可持續(xù)發(fā)展的研究具有很好的指導(dǎo)意義。本報告選取的第一章主要向讀者介紹了在可持續(xù)發(fā)展理念指導(dǎo)下,食物、耕地、農(nóng)業(yè)、林業(yè)以及肥料等方面的發(fā)展。本文以胡庚申的三維轉(zhuǎn)換理論為指導(dǎo),探討翻譯過程中的翻譯難點以及解決方法。在翻譯的過程中,針對語言維度的轉(zhuǎn)換,譯者采取了增譯和詞性轉(zhuǎn)換的方法;針對文化層面的轉(zhuǎn)換,譯者采用了意譯法和文內(nèi)加注法;針對交際維度的轉(zhuǎn)換,譯者采用了分譯和重構(gòu)的方法。譯者打破原文限制,著重注意信息的準(zhǔn)確傳遞,力求譯文通俗易懂。最后,此報告總結(jié)了翻譯過程中獲得的經(jīng)驗以及有待解決的問題。
