本文是一篇口譯實(shí)踐報告,選取的語料是2017中國人工智能大會上宗成慶的發(fā)言“語言智能與應(yīng)用”(Language Intelligence and Its Applications)以及托比·沃什的發(fā)言“人工智能造福人類的那一面”(AI for Social Good)。發(fā)言內(nèi)容均以人工智能為主題。筆者對選材進(jìn)行了模擬同聲傳譯實(shí)踐,并錄音、轉(zhuǎn)寫,在此基礎(chǔ)之上完成了實(shí)踐報告。本次同聲傳譯實(shí)踐有較大的挑戰(zhàn)性。筆者需要同時完成中到英和英到中的同聲傳譯。兩篇語料都是科技主題,需要大量的背景知識和專業(yè)術(shù)語表達(dá)。并且由于發(fā)言人的說話風(fēng)格迥異,語速較快,有較強(qiáng)的隨機(jī)性,需要一定的口譯綜合能力。筆者將實(shí)踐中的口譯難點(diǎn)總結(jié)歸納為兩類,主要是模糊表達(dá)和邏輯混亂,又結(jié)合功能主義理論針對上述問題提出了解決辦法。本篇實(shí)踐報告的目的是為譯員提供一些科技類同傳的策略以供參考,并幫助譯員合理分配認(rèn)知精力與資源,針對不同的口譯難點(diǎn)采取相應(yīng)的口譯策略,從而保證譯文的準(zhǔn)確達(dá)意。
