近些年來,隨著我國與世界各國全方位、多層次交往的加強(qiáng),學(xué)術(shù)之間的交流也逐步提升到了一個新境界。國內(nèi)外語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域著作頗豐,大量學(xué)術(shù)著作涌現(xiàn),學(xué)者們面臨著如何引進(jìn)與翻譯這些著作的挑戰(zhàn),而其中譯者發(fā)揮的作用至關(guān)重要。本文是一篇英譯漢翻譯實踐報告,選取的翻譯材料來自于劍橋大學(xué)語言學(xué)教授K.M.Jaszczolt所著的學(xué)術(shù)著作《默認(rèn)語義學(xué):交際行為組合理論的基礎(chǔ)》（Default Semantics:Foundations of a Compositional Theory of Acts of Communication）。筆者負(fù)責(zé)了該書自扉頁始至第一章的內(nèi)容,并在此基礎(chǔ)上完成了翻譯項目報告。本報告共分為五個章節(jié)。第一章著重介紹了翻譯任務(wù)的背景、過程以及此翻譯報告的意義;第二章對該書作者以及所譯章節(jié)的主要內(nèi)容和文本特點進(jìn)行了系統(tǒng)分析;第三章詳細(xì)介紹了奈達(dá)功能對等理論的產(chǎn)生、發(fā)展階段、原則以及該理論應(yīng)用于此翻譯文本的可行性;第四章是翻譯中遇到的主要問題、在功能對等理論指導(dǎo)下的案例分析和總結(jié),具體包括從詞匯、句法和語篇層面的分析。另外,筆者在翻譯過程中綜合運用了多種翻譯技巧,例如增減譯法、轉(zhuǎn)換法等...
