《加勒比海地區(qū)通史卷六》(第九章)英漢翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

新世紀(jì)以來,隨著中國企業(yè)“走出去”步伐的加快,拉丁美洲與加勒比海地區(qū)(以下簡稱“拉美”)在中國整體外交布局中的地位日益提升,中拉關(guān)系保持良好的發(fā)展態(tài)勢(shì)。與此同時(shí),中國學(xué)界對(duì)地區(qū)國別研究愈加重視,拉美地區(qū)的國別研究能夠?qū)Α耙粠б宦贰背h在當(dāng)?shù)氐膶?shí)施起到積極的推動(dòng)作用。《加勒比海地區(qū)通史》的翻譯對(duì)加深中國學(xué)界對(duì)加勒比海地區(qū)的了解有一定的幫助作用。本次翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告是以澳大利亞歷史學(xué)家希格曼所著《加勒比海通史卷六》一書第九章為翻譯材料。本章節(jié)是對(duì)加勒比海地區(qū)過去相關(guān)歷史文獻(xiàn)的回顧。在尤金奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論指導(dǎo)下,譯者在詞匯、句法層面結(jié)合相關(guān)案例對(duì)原文本進(jìn)行了一個(gè)分析,通過運(yùn)用恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g方法和策略實(shí)現(xiàn)原文和譯文在功能上的對(duì)等。在詞匯層面,譯者采用了音譯法、加注法和引申法;在句法層面,譯者采用了轉(zhuǎn)換法、調(diào)整法、增詞法和正反譯法。上述翻譯方法和策略使譯文讀者與原文讀者對(duì)作品有相同的接受度。
