[Abstract]:Positive English news, English newspapers and periodicals, English websites and so on are all important ways to propagate and transmit information to the outside world. News English, written by Wang Lei, can lead readers to understand world events and learn authentic English expressions. This book improves readers' news English level by selecting news manuscripts from the Associated Press, Reuters, Xinhua News Agency and other authoritative news agencies at home and abroad, through the introduction of the key words, language points and related background knowledge of each selected article. This book is suitable for college students majoring in news, radio and television, as well as for news enthusiasts with a certain English foundation, middle school English teachers and English learners. This textbook is divided into nine chapters. The first chapter introduces the main English in the world.
