【摘要】：本實(shí)踐報(bào)告是對(duì)筆者翻譯的Bowmar/Noble出版集團(tuán)社會(huì)研究系列叢書之一《城市與郊區(qū)》前三單元所做的陳述和分析。該書是關(guān)于城市和郊區(qū)歷史與發(fā)展的,用于社會(huì)研究實(shí)踐教學(xué)。在導(dǎo)師的鼓勵(lì)下,筆者接受了此書的翻譯任務(wù)。整個(gè)翻譯過(guò)程耗時(shí)兩個(gè)月。本實(shí)踐報(bào)告由任務(wù)描述、過(guò)程描述、譯前準(zhǔn)備、案例分析和實(shí)踐總結(jié)五大部分構(gòu)成。第一章任務(wù)描述主要介紹了翻譯任務(wù)的來(lái)源、內(nèi)容、要求和完成情況。第二章過(guò)程描述按時(shí)間順序介紹了整個(gè)翻譯過(guò)程,包括任務(wù)接受、任務(wù)準(zhǔn)備階段、翻譯階段和審校階段。第三章譯前準(zhǔn)備詳細(xì)描述了筆者在翻譯之前所做的準(zhǔn)備工作。第四章案例分析是重點(diǎn)章節(jié)。因?yàn)楣P者在翻譯過(guò)程中遵循了翻譯目的論,所以案例分析中主要運(yùn)用目的論中的翻譯三原則——目的原則、連貫原則和忠實(shí)原則——來(lái)分析不同的翻譯策略如何讓譯文達(dá)到翻譯的“充分性”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。第五章實(shí)踐總結(jié)部分主要陳述了筆者通過(guò)此次翻譯實(shí)踐所獲得的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和教訓(xùn)。雖然本次翻譯材料的英文語(yǔ)言和相關(guān)知識(shí)都不難,但筆者在翻譯中還是遇到很大困難,因此更加堅(jiān)信翻譯是一門藝術(shù),要想成為一名合格的譯者,筆者仍需努力學(xué)習(xí)更多的語(yǔ)言和翻譯知識(shí)以及更多的社科和文化知識(shí)。
[Abstract]:This practical report is a presentation and analysis of the first three units of Bowmar/Noble Publishing Group's series of social studies, one of which is translated by the author. The book is about the history and development of cities and suburbs and is used in practical teaching of social research. Encouraged by the tutor, the author accepted the translation task of the book. The whole translation process took two months. This practice report consists of five parts: task description, process description, pre-translation preparation, case analysis and practice summary. The first chapter introduces the source, content, requirement and completion of the translation task. The second chapter describes the whole translation process in chronological order, including task acceptance, task preparation, translation and revision. The third chapter describes the preparation before translation in detail. The fourth chapter case analysis is the key chapter. Since the author follows the Skopos theory in translation, the Skopos principle is mainly used in the case analysis. Coherence principle and faithfulness principle-to analyze how different translation strategies can achieve the "adequacy" criterion of translation. The fifth chapter mainly describes the experience and lessons learned from the translation practice. Although the English language and relevant knowledge of the translation materials are not difficult, the author still encounters great difficulties in translation, so he firmly believes that translation is an art, in order to become a qualified translator. I still need to learn more language and translation knowledge, as well as more social science and culture knowledge.
