【摘要】：本項(xiàng)目報告是基于筆者為微信訂閱號《取經(jīng)號JTW》翻譯外網(wǎng)新聞的實(shí)踐活動撰寫而成的。內(nèi)容主要涉及到《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)人》、《衛(wèi)報》、《紐約客》等國外媒體的新聞評論文章,從經(jīng)濟(jì)領(lǐng)域到心理學(xué)領(lǐng)域都有所涉及。本項(xiàng)目報告以翻譯的新聞評論文章為實(shí)踐內(nèi)容,對翻譯原文的特點(diǎn)與功能進(jìn)行了分析,并結(jié)合斯珀伯(Sperber)和威爾遜(Wilson)提出的關(guān)聯(lián)理論總結(jié)了翻譯此類文本的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。關(guān)聯(lián)理論認(rèn)為,要正確理解自然語言就要通過語境來尋找關(guān)聯(lián),要靠推理。翻譯中要達(dá)到語用對等,其前提正是正確地認(rèn)知和理解自然語言。此項(xiàng)目的翻譯過程中的重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)主要是標(biāo)題、詞匯以及一些長句的翻譯,其原因可以總結(jié)為英漢兩種語言在思維和表達(dá)方式方面的差異,缺乏不同領(lǐng)域?qū)I(yè)知識,新聞評論本身固有的特點(diǎn)等。本項(xiàng)目報告針對以上的重難點(diǎn)問題提出了不同的解決方法:對標(biāo)題的翻譯處理要根據(jù)新聞評論的內(nèi)容以及行文風(fēng)格采用具體的翻譯方法;解決詞匯難點(diǎn)時主要采用直譯加注法;在翻譯長句時則要視句子的語法邏輯和語義邏輯之間的關(guān)系從而確定相應(yīng)的翻譯方法。最后,筆者對項(xiàng)目進(jìn)行總結(jié),提出翻譯建議和待改善之處。
[Abstract]:This project report is based on the author's practice of translating news from WeChat Subscription account. The contents are mainly related to the news commentary articles in foreign media, such as the Economist, the Guardian and the New Yorker, from the field of economics to the field of psychology. Based on the translated news commentary, this project analyzes the features and functions of the translated text, and sums up the experience of translating this kind of text based on the relevance theory proposed by Sperber (Sperber) and Wilson (Wilson). Relevance theory holds that to understand natural language correctly, we must find relevance through context and rely on reasoning. To achieve pragmatic equivalence in translation, the premise is to correctly recognize and understand natural language. The key and difficult points in the translation of this project are the translation of title, vocabulary and some long sentences. The reasons can be summarized as the differences in thinking and expression between English and Chinese, and the lack of professional knowledge in different fields. The inherent characteristics of news commentary, etc. This project report proposes different solutions to the above important and difficult problems: the translation of the title should be based on the content of the news commentary and the style of the text, the main solution to the difficulties of vocabulary is literal translation plus note, and the translation of the title should be based on the content of the news commentary and the style of the text. In translating long sentences, the corresponding translation methods should be determined depending on the relationship between the grammatical logic and semantic logic of the sentence. Finally, the author summarizes the project, and puts forward translation suggestions and improvements.
