【摘要】：本文是《林肯傳》(節(jié)選)的英漢翻譯的反思報(bào)告。林肯是世界人民心目中的一個(gè)傳奇式人物。在1861-1865年美國(guó)內(nèi)戰(zhàn)時(shí)林肯領(lǐng)導(dǎo)聯(lián)邦平定了南部反動(dòng)奴隸主的武裝叛亂,頒了解放黑人奴隸的宣言。從而使美國(guó)資本主義獲得了迅速的發(fā)展。《林肯傳》不僅是一部人物傳記,更是一部人生的教科書,蘊(yùn)藏著林肯一生的精華。而在我們自己的人生路上,要樹立的一塊鑄刻著林肯的閃耀精神的石碑。原文有著典型的英文行文特征,例如長(zhǎng)句、名詞化表達(dá)以及專有名詞的大量使用。同時(shí),由于中英讀者間巨大的閱讀習(xí)慣和思考模式上的差異,致使譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中花費(fèi)大量精力。因此,譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中面臨諸多挑戰(zhàn)�；谝蝗f(wàn)余字的翻譯實(shí)踐,本文著重解決原文翻譯時(shí)語(yǔ)意模糊以及表述邏輯混亂的問(wèn)題,力圖使譯文清晰準(zhǔn)確。譯者先對(duì)傳記這種文體進(jìn)行分析,然后使用分譯法、換序法、增譯法、減譯法、音譯法以及意譯法來(lái)解決上述問(wèn)題。
[Abstract]:This paper is a rethinking report on English-Chinese translation of Lincoln's biography (excerpt). Lincoln is a legendary figure in the eyes of the people of the world. Lincoln led the Union to quell the armed rebellion of reactionary slave owners in the South during the Civil War from 1861 to 1865, and issued a manifesto for the liberation of black slaves. The biography of Lincoln is not only a biography, but also a textbook of life, which contains the essence of Lincoln's life. And in our own life, to set up a stone engraved with Lincoln's shining spirit. The original text has typical features in English, such as long sentences, nominalization and the extensive use of proper nouns. At the same time, due to the huge differences in reading habits and thinking patterns between Chinese and English readers, translators spend a great deal of effort in the process of translation. Therefore, translators face many challenges in the process of translation. Based on the translation practice of more than 10,000 words, this paper focuses on solving the problems of ambiguity of meaning and confusion of expressing logic in the translation of the original text, in order to make the translation clear and accurate. The translator first analyzes the style of biography, and then solves the above problems by using the methods of division, order, addition, subtraction, transliteration and free translation.
